Last 2 times I've gone to this sonic they've messed up my stuff. Last time the messed us my order and this time I ordered 2 drinks and a shake. I was going to pay partial cash and the rest on my card, gabriell let me know she was unable to do that which is fine so I asked for her to take my shake off and I'd pay for my sodas in cash and pay for my shake with my card, ON A SEPARATE order. She mad it seem like she understood that's what I was doing and I thought everything would go smoothly. WRONG. I had handed her $6.17 in cash before, when she was explaining we couldn't do a partial payment, so I figured she would use that for my sodas. She opened the window and said it'd be $4.74 so I then handed her my card thinking that it was for my shake, she hands me the sodas and takes my card explaining she'd be right back so she could swipe it. She came back handed me the card and walked off so I sat at the window. She saw me sitting there and asked if there was something else I needed help with and I said "yes my shake" she looked at me confused and said "oh so you are gonna get it?" I then said I was and she grabbed it to ring it up and asked for $4.43. I told her I had already given her $6.17 in cash and she looked at me and said "oh I was wondering where that came from" and handed me the shake without my change. I was already fed up and needed to get home to my son or I would've say there and explained the simple math skills it takes to do her job. Don't go to this location, at least during...
Read moreTried giving this place another chance, mistake. I figured maybe I just had two previous bad incidents. This time I pull up behind some lady and waited, and waited. After 11 minutes I drive around the lady and go to the window where I wait another 4-5 minutes I finally see a guy in a black T-shirt talking to a cook. They talk and laugh for about another 3 minutes. He finally walks to the window checks some stuff and I'm there looking at him from a truck so I know he sees me. He opens the window and I tell him I've been waiting behind some lady for 10 minutes and who knows how long she's been there, and another 8 minutes at the window watching him chat and laugh with the cook. He says someone tried paying with a fake bill. SMH you take the bill and call the police and give a description, not try and solve a case. "So are you open?" He says yes and I drive back around and waited about 2 more minutes behind the same lady. Backed up and said screw it. I know I should've left way earlier but I was upset and someone needs to be made aware. I tried to give them a chance, 3 chances never again. Amazed that Sonic management hasn't done anything about it with the numerous negative ratings. Make the longer trip and go to the one in Helotes. Never been disappointed, that manager knows how to run it with the...

Sonic Drive-In has been my go-to spot for years — and for good reason. Whether I’m rolling through for a Cherry Limeade on a hot day or grabbing a late-night burger and tots, Sonic always hits the spot. The convenience, the nostalgic drive-in experience, and that crave-worthy menu make every visit feel like a treat.
I have to give a huge shoutout to the team at my local Sonic — the service is consistently quick and friendly, and my order’s always fresh. The burgers are juicy, the mozzarella sticks are melty perfection, and don’t even get me started on the slushes — I’ve probably tried every flavor combo on the menu (yes, even the crazy ones). Plus, those half-price drinks during Happy Hour? Life-saver status.
Sonic isn't just a fast food stop — it’s a part of my routine. Whether I’m kicking off a road trip or just need a little pick-me-up after work, I know I can count on Sonic to deliver something awesome every time.
And hey, since I’ve basically become a walking Sonic commercial — bringing friends, sharing photos of my food, and hyping up your app deals — I’d love to be considered for a gift card. Not just to say thanks, but so I can keep coming back, keep spreading the word, and keep living my best slush-loving,...
