Tex Mex Burgers — Restaurant in San Antonio

The restaurant is very neat and clean. It has ample amount of seating space. It is nice and cool in the back section.

Usually Tex-Mex nachos would be picadillo, chips, cheddar cheese, and the trimmings. Instead I received chili cheese nachos so that took me for a loop. Actually a bit disappointed.

The canned chili tasted just like that. It's all beef with no beans. The nacho cheese is Rico and reminded me of carnival food. They do give you a small ramekin with jalapeño slices.

Tex-Mex burger was a frozen style meat patty, a slice of deli ham, a bunch of old chopped lettuce, tomato slice, semi-sauteed yellow onions and grilled jalapeños. Sadly, this one doesn't have avacado slices. It tasted pretty good. My hubby said it was alright not the best he's had but not bad either.

Quarter pounder with added cheese. The bun is what you're mainly eating because the frozen patty is super thin but the circular size is bun to meat ratio... so that was pleasing to the eye. The slice of cheese disintegrated into the top bun. The first bite had a weird oil after taste but the second bite tasted normal. It's a promising burger but I did need to add mustard and ketchup to help it with flavor. I couldn't finish it because it's way too much bread.

I feel this place is amazing for the younger crowds. Or for people who just want carnival food options.

Regardless, it is a cool place to try out. Support your local restaurants! I feel for me I would like the chili cheese hot dog since the chili cheese nachos ended up being the star of our meal.

I give them 4 stars out of 5 Reason why the first time I went in I love that I was greeted. She was on point of service. The food was fast now the burgers are awesome. That’s a 10 BUT The reason I gave them a 4 out of 5 since they open I’ve tried a little bit of everything off the menu. I really didn’t care for the fried pickles. They are soggy and greasy when they came out and they asked me if I wouldn’t ranch I thought automatically that’s what you get with fried pickles or that’s just other restaurants . the onion rings just basic typical ones they’re not homemade. French fries, onion rings and french fries they were just basic typical . chili dog has a great taste even with the bacon on top I just can’t believe it doesn’t come as a combo because when I called in my order, they told me they don’t do combos on hotdogs I love their tea. Came here late afternoon yesterday for the first time and have no regrets! If youve been eyeing this place for a while i recommend you come. It’s such a nice spot to dine in as well. Customer service was awesome. Didnt feel rushed or pressured to just order anything. I paid 43.86 for 2 Tex Mex burger combos and 1 Mexican Burger combo w/large onions rings. All combos come with a large fountain drink. Its gotta be one of the best burgers ive had. My sister doesn’t really eat meat but she downed this burger!
