Service has been rather inconsistent as far as quality of service the later in the day I have observed. Example, I'm the last customer on the cashier's till for the evening apparently. She manages to give my order to the wrong person then proceeded to leave her shift. Didn't even manage to tell the cashier starting his shift i was waiting for my order. So I'm just here sitting at the drive thru waiting whilst other customer pile behind me waiting on my food. Poor guy started his shift like that. Felt wrong to reprimand him about something he didn't even know about. Felt wrong to complain, even with a legitimate complaint. Still I waited and finally after sitting in the drive-thru for a total of 45 minutes I finally got my food. By then I had finished my drink. I didn't give the guy cashier a complaint or side eye or any malice or open hostility. But I didn't get nothing for my patience either aside from an empty apology. Most companies have no accountability in that regard and to be honest what could I expect really? Society at large has very little accountability. Most large companies see one mistake as a drop in the bucket. Hopefully your not that person. We recognize our mistake then business's as usual, Everyone one understands but with not ability to help or they are sorry as a passive tactic to diffuse the slight delivered with all the heartfelt sentiment and well meaning of an empty hollow dead stump. All that is left from the exchange is a Salty feeling and a formed expectation that with a choice of dining that I should avoid this location at this time. That despite this one snafu that for the most part my overall experience has been mid but not aweful. I can only forewarned and inform others as a maybe a public service to go with the pretense that the responsibility goes down hill as the Night carries on. Maybe just go home and make a sandwich or go...
Read moreI usually like going here. My autistic son was overwhelmed and sat on the floor. Which is normal for some kids. But the manager, Susie, being helpful like she is, demanded I pick him up and do as she said. She was very rude, and in my face, not at all helpful to the situation. She kept repeating for me to take care of the situation, like i was not already trying. I am in heart failure and disabled. Not that I NEED to tell her that, but empathy was not on her list today. I can not pick him up due to this, he also is autistic. Ever pick a fight with a autistic kid? How did it turn out? I was not kind in return to her, nor should I be. SUSIE made the situation worse by screaming at me. She called the police on a 7 year old. I will be contacting a disability advocate who will help defend my son and I. If you have kids that are on the spectrum, do not go there when she's working. She will make it worse and have no compassion for the situation. Life is hard enough with a kid with special needs, and she made the experience worse. People like her are the reason this store has issues, and he was scared to have the police come get a kid. The other managers I have met are fantastic! She needs a new job, preferably not with people. Maybe I should go to the news Channel and see if they want a story about disabled people being treated poorly by ignorant...
Read moreI went to this Whataburger last night and ordered the kids chicken strips with fries and gravy. I am a long time lover of Whataburger’s chicken strips but lately when I go, I have been disappointed. However on this occasion, I had the best meal I have ever had there!! Other Whataburger locations need to take notice of how it’s done! The fries and chicken strips were so amazingly fresh, hot, and delicious! They had the perfect crunch too. Normally my food is on the room temperature to cold side and my strips have not been crunchy orrrrr they have been extremely crunchy like they have been sitting there way too long and were thrown back into the fryer. The star of the show might have been the gravy since I’m always so disappointed. This gravy was the perfect balance of smooth and creamy without being overly thick. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had Whataburger gravy and it was like dipping my food into mud. I shouldn’t have to scrape my food around to get some gravy, it should be dip and eat! This location is point though!! Thank you for serving me the perfect late night treat! I wish I had a picture but it is all...
