BUYER BEWARE!!!! I made the mistake of opening a tab for my party of 3 instead of paying per drink how I regularly do at a new location. Watch out for the male server with a beard gauges and many tattoos one of which was a small one piece pirate flag on his right outer forearm. He added drinks to our tab, was very rude, stayed on his phone all night and was dismissive when trying to talk to him. This is not the first time this has happened at this place as I see other customers are saying the same thing. This was my first and last time coming here. It was very slow there was only 3 other party’s with 2-3 people each. However, the one bartender who definitely deserves all the tips and makes sure that place is running smoothly is the blonde woman behind the bar. While the two servers were just on their phones she was running back and forth getting orders ready. I was hoping I could support a new local business but this place left a horrible impression on me and my guests. I’ll keep taking my business to the other...
Read moreLike it a lot. It's gets packed pretty quick. The service at the bar tends to get worse as the night goes on but again, it does get pretty packed. The atmo is very 80s with a ton of retro images and decor. The old gaming systems at the tables is a nice touch. The music is good, it does get a little repetitive. It's 80s but there is a lot of 80s songs I've never heard played there and lots of songs I hear every time.. Sometimes twice in a night. Overall it's a really cool place, the age is as expected for a 80s bar. 70s and 80s babies, but a good mix of folks. We've always had fun. Videos play on the wall as a backdrop to the dance floor. Parking is along the highway unless you're a lucky one to get a space really early in the tiny lot. There's a business that charges 5 bucks to park at their place next door. There is a covered outdoor area also in case you want to take the party outside. It's a cool alternative to the typical...
Read moreThe name of the club and the DeLorean 80s picture on the wall are deceptive. As it’s called the 80s club yet most of what we heard was 70s , 90 even more recent music . A talented Dj would really make a big difference , someone in the caliber of Ceballos as you get what you pay for. If there’s no one dancing fade the song out and play one to keep the people dancing and thirsty . They’ll pack the place wherever they’re located as people love to drink and dance . It’s just isn’t an 80s club . They might want to consider changing the name to "Let’s dance “ . On the other hand the service was impeccable. The bartenders exceptional. Security very attentive. The owners seem to be genuinely kind and understanding. Look forward to visiting the one in McAllen hopefully they’ll play more 80s and play the newer 90+and older 70s-stuff before the...
