I went here a bunch of times but the quality or the food and service is becoming unrecognizable Now! The last 2 trips the food was disgusting, cold and still expensive as hell as they keep raising prices for less quantity of portion of food. Both times I ordered the Mac daddy these last 2 trips were disgusting and half-ass made. By the way I loved this sandwich the first 3 times I had it and that's why I kept going back. But I will never buy anything from this place again. I had to wait 35mins and they said Sorry when I went up there to see if order was done and they told me just waiting on cornbread. 🤬I get the meal and my wedges were cold as hell and my Mac daddy had no onions,no pickles and barley and sauce on it while having a hard bun that taste staled. It was so gross! Also bit into a bone which says boneless. Worst sandwich made ever! It was cold with the wedges as well. So to tell me they made all th food and had it sit their waiting for the corn bread as the other food gets ice cold. Tried to get replacement and they said cant do that sir. All the cooks and service people should be fired on spot. The whole point of the Mac daddy sandwich was the pickles and onions. U guys should be ashamed of the cooks and service u guys hire. This is the one in Yammavaa Casino. Place is a joke...felt nausea since I ate part of this sandwich before it...
Read moreThe best BBQ in Southern California! It rivals Texas and the rest of the south. Dan Delaney wishes he could make bbq this good, but he is just another Franklin wannabe.
This is serious Que, the meat is smoked to perfection with its caramelized rub, that adds a serious spice kick! The best bbq I’ve ever eaten was at “Mr. K’s” in Tucson Arizona, yes Tucson.
You know you’re eating real bbq when the sauce is served on the side, this means that the pit master has nothing to hide. OMG the beans, giggity-giggity gooooooooood, they taste how Phillips BBQ smells as you drive down Crenshaw, but only Phillips now tastes like S - - -! Step your game up. In conclusion this is the best bbq in SoCal. If you’re 21 and over and don’t mind the smoking, it’s in a casino, stop on by to this beautiful hole in the wall and you’ll spit out everything else socal.
PS. I gave it 4 stars because the portion sizes are a...
Read moreConveniently located on the second floor in the 909 Food Court, you place your orders at either the counter OR on the kiosk, which I prefer to do. There is plenty of seating with a bunch of massive TV's to watch sports and a couple of bars with counter-top slot games to play while you eat, drink, and try to be merry over losing money in this tightwad joint. Price: $$ reasonable. Tender meats & poultry (turkey breast-yum!), great savory bbq sauce, baked beans are good (too much pork in it for my tastes though), spicy coleslaw is flavorful, potato salad is tasty, service is quick & friendly. If your stomach is sensitive to bbq'd/charbroiled foods, you may want to choose a different restaurant to eat at, there are several to choose from. I recommend Just Barbecue when really in the mood for bbq, even if you're...
