The Tiki Bar — Restaurant in San Carlos Park

If you are over the age of 25 don’t bother. After a night with family we went to have a drink at the bar attached to the days inn. At first it was nice, seemed to be popular. One of out party went to the bar and ordered drinks…. With a party of 13, and two drinks each… the bill was not small. My point ? The person standing at the bar ordering the drinks was approached by a male who claimed to “own” the chair at the bar. The meme we of our party said he understood but needed to finish handing out the drinks. The other male insisted he “move now, and chest bumped the person I our party.” We thought it was fine after the check was paid but this guy was really wanting to flex for his little loud mouthed lady. The bartender was friends with this couple and called security. Four security guards ALL said … “they just got here” we didn’t even have all of our drinks. But we’re told to leave. The female at the bar was screaming how she had a right to be there and the seat was hers. No one wanted her seat…. We were simply ordering drinks. And planned on ordering more. As actual home owning adults with careers, we weren’t really into fighting over a seat at a sticky bar. Overall.. It’s a college bar with underage drinking, and clearly a skewed understanding of how to run a business. If you are actually an adult with values and you don’t want a tetanus shot… or worse from the clientele…. Avoid Avoid Avoid. But if you choose to go there…. Be prepared for immature, college testosterone jacked up idiots coupled with their loud and aggressive females to surround you and most likely give you more than you asked for… btw. CLEAN THE COUNTERS … how gross to have such a sticky mess. The Days Inn didn’t look bad… but then again, we were staying at a Hilton (thankfully) … so, it seemed to be more for random hookups and drunk drivers who can’t drive. If you want fun without the drama ….....

I think the Tiki Bar San Carlos is AWESOME. I also think the management there is SLIME...FILTH... SCUM... Jen and Eric have been heartless, crooked people who treat there employees like dirt. Jen is literally the most two faced person ever, and cares only about herself..and Eric is a coward who would NEVER treat a man how he treats those female bartenders BECAUSE he knows the outcome would be different. To say the tiki is anything BUT awesome would be a lie.. The bartenders work hard and are awesome...and the customers ALL rock. I'll even give credit to Jen and Eric for keeping the bar lively and profitable...BUT there is a way to handle business and produce solid numbers, AND the way they handle themselves as managers IS NOT THE WAY. They thrive off of fear and they manage like a dictatorship. They constantly look for issues and when they can't find any, they make them up. Eric cant get enough of watching those cameras to just call and harass whichever girl is working.

Sad part is, like any other crook, they are good at what they do. People just dont realize how crooked, evil, and corrupt they are while conducting there business of managing Tiki. I guarantee they have this post removed, but hopefully some people read it in time and aknowledge there wrongdoings. Again, to clarify, Tiki Bar is awesome AND so is there staff...HOWEVER, the management (Jen and Eric) are terrible and need to be terminated. To the OWNERS..The tiki is established enough at this point so that YOU DON'T ACTUALLY NEED THEM ANYMORE.. Ask your staff who does the ordering? Ask your staff who does the inventory??

Only one star until the management is gone. I don't support companies who willingly employee immoral and...

The girls that work at the bar are very young and have a very bad attitude although some pretty.. they know it but thats a cute thing.. and they are extremely rude with their stares and their words... if they decide they don't like you and you will wait about 20 minutes for a beverage..that is not long compared to other wait times.. if there is somebody over your shoulder or next to you looking for a drink they will get it first even though you've been asking for quite some time.. they are extremely young and catty and that is a terrible combination to be serving the public.. if you don't mind them standing around having a conversation and waiting for your drink then this is your place.. watch out for J lashes she will hike up your bill without a second Glance ..dont confront her cuz she in turn will then turn it around on you with great attitude like you are a drunken idiot... and of course she would never ever think about doing that to a customer..ya right.. lots of people have not returned because of that reason and that reason only and that is a shame... I now wear a cam on me at all times to record everything and to prove how I am treated there.. I will make sure I post them for all to see the rudeness that is given to a customer who just wants a cocktail.. and who by the way is a good Tipper...
