Decided to take a Sunday drive from El Cajón to wherever on highway 67 and ended up at Nickel Beer Company in Julian and was sure glad that I stopped. I was immediately drawn to the C.C. O'Neill Irish Red and after my first two enjoyed some of their cheddar cheese spread with Ritz crackers. I will mention that right now everything is outside seating due to covid. Masks are required to order from a table at the front door and then you take it to your table of choice out on the patio I just happen to pick a beautiful day about 80° so both sun and shade are equally enjoyable. The two ladies that are the staff today we're very friendly and able to explain the different brews available to my satisfaction with not a long time between pours. Read moreI told my husband to “get in the car and get our baby”!!! Nickel (named after Nickel Brewery) was abandoned by his mama and was found in the inside of the brewery. He has become such a love of our life and now “rules the house”. He LOVES to chew wires (don’t know why) but phone charger cords are his favorite! Lol we keep the phones locked up in the bathroom when charging! He has two buddies to keep him busy and he loves to snuggle between mom and dad at night to sleep.
