This is a great neighborhood coffee spot and wine bar. Fantastic place to relax with friends on a quite weekend morning, get a coffee on the way to work, and relax on a lovely San Diego evening with amazing wines produced out of Ramona!
the staff is excellent and sommelier Kim is friendly and always eager to talk about the wines, travel, and being in this fine city.
As a Dutch native, she brings a touch of home with a special treat by Castillo Munchies - poffertjes. These are tiny pancakes topped traditionally with butter and powder sugar, but a variety of toppings available for a delicious treat with your coffee.

Read moreI love the wines from Castelli & Pizzaro! Especially their petite syrah. Their winemaker Nelson and his staff are so knowledgeable and friendly.
We usually go all the way to their vineyard in Ramona so we're happy that they opened up a tasting room here in San Diego. There is a little table or two for seating inside but the majority of the seating is outside on their patio with portable heaters. We're hoping to make it here more often for drinks with friends.
They do have an espresso machine and pastries but no other food so bring your own accoutrements to enjoy...
Read moreI’m so thrilled a good coffee shop has opened near my home that isn’t a Starbucks, Peets, or Better Buzz. Their prices are much better than that of James Coffee or Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. Their espresso drinks are well balanced, less strong than that of Bird Rock, better than James Coffee. I’d say on par with Dark Horse Coffee Roasters.
