First impressions. As a delicious healthy snack shop, they are fantastic! Three stars because as a coffee roaster (their website says "Copa Vida Coffee Roasters"), the service they provide is inadequate. This is disappointing and false advertising. Major pros and major cons.
Pros: Service is fantastic. The servers are very warm, kind, and helpful! They diffused our disappointment. Food is delicious. We had the roasted tomato avocado toast and the almond butter toast and jam and they were both very good! We also had the citrus olive oil muffin and the almond muffin thing, both also very good. Lots of beautiful aesthetic space, indoor and outdoor.
Cons: I'm disappointed that a "coffee roaster" and a spacious venue doesn't have any manual or specialty brews. They even have a drawing of a chemex on the wall, but none to actually use. Read moreHigh. Class. Gorgeous interior and exterior, so clean and roomy. Everyone on staff was in good spirits and very accommodating and down-to-earth. The food and the coffee were excellent. I got the ham brekkie sandwich, and they brought me the bacon one instead, but why not? The brekkie sandwiches come on their homemade milk buns, and you just have to try one. A great place for study.
