Valentinas Taco Shop — Restaurant in San Diego

Valentina’s is located in an almost isolated area. Unless you live or work in the specific vicinity, you wouldn’t come here. There’s not many other options available close by either. Inside, it’s obviously been some sort of bar restaurant that changed hands into this place.

The menu is alright, lots of options. Salsas are okay, three options. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I rarely write reviews for places but the employee who works here pissed me off. I asked for a wet chicken burrito with GREEN sauce and asked to add rice and beans since it didn't come with it. I got charged a $1 extra for the rice and beans. Well, imagine my surprise when the burrito has RED sauce instead of green and they charged me for rice and beans that aren't in the burrito. Disgusting. Ordered a California burrito and it tasted pretty bad. The size of the burrito was too small. The fries were not cooked properly and were hard and very oily inside the burrito. The meat was okay but was cooked with tomatoes and cilantro. It only came with meat, cheese and fries. No guacamole, sour cream, or anything else which typically comes standard in other places.
