The food has always been decent, but the two recent times I went, the pricing has been inconsistent. I been going here for years, and its always been that way, but not to the extent of this last experience that just happened a few minutes ago. (I understand we have inflation in our nation, so I am taking that into consideration. I had to rhyme) I ordered a chorizo and papa's breakfast burrito and asked if I can get some chips on the side( the chips have always been complimentary ) and asked to buy a can of coke(12oz). He punches in the order on the register and it comes out to $19.81. I was no way paying that much for tortilla chips a soda and burrito. But I went Forward and asked why was it so expensive. The man replies that the Burrito is 8.99,.so I asked again, if the burrito was that price. Why did it come out so expensive then? The man says the soda is 3.99 And the chips are not complimentary. I didn't want to ask about the Chips because that's ridiculous already for the price of a can of coke that goes for 9bucks a 12 pack. So I said that's still doesn't add up. He tells me the chips are not free. Never heard of that, Five dollars for chips?? Like come on. I tell him to cancel the coke and I don't want the chips. The man Charges me twelve dollars for the burrito itself, when he had just said $8.99(7.99 pre inflation)While punching up the new numbers he says yeah everything's going up, And I say yeah double for the customers, I guess. I thought it was $8.99.. I just paid because im hungry and don't feel like protesting today.
What is up with that neighbors? Never going back again also letting my family know. So be careful if you do go there, on how they charge you. (30 year costumer gone) thanks macho. Nice to know u. Sad. Sad. Sad
Update: The Burrito was sad. Old...
Read moreFew places manage to bring a smile to my face when it comes to eating a quick meal.
I found this place by chance, originally looking for the one in front of the street. LOL.
I ordered a “mojarra al ajo”. My Gosh that was delicious. The whole city should come to try this dish. In just 5 minutes they prepared me a generous plate that I devoured with a smile from ear to ear.
Amazing and original taste. At least I had never tried anything like it. The garlic pesto is set on top of the fish and it also can be used as dip for the fries (yes it comes with fries). 4 delicious tortillas, salad and rice accompanied this exquisite dish, so I even dare to prepare me some “fish tacos”; o man I’m so happy. They also have an amazing salsa bar!!!
April 9 2024: Came back and tried the steak and eggs plate. Truly awesome, delicious and vast!!!
Excellent place, good Mexican atmosphere and very friendly owner.
Truly recommend this place. Hopefully will come back next time I’m driving around...
Read morePersonally I really like the food here but it's out of my walking distance. When I do my laundry I would usually swing by here and order an Asada Nachos or a wet burrito. Their 2x taco + rice and abondigas is pretty good; it's not filling but I'm not hungry either. Sope is good. Their salsa is spicy 🥵 Their food feels very "home-made" so it really hits the spot. If Chanos wasn't so close to where I live I'd be stopping by here more. Gladys is cool and good too, but I always find myself walking across the street to eat here during carwash.
It's a small mom n pop business so don't expect a fancy place. Ppl there are friendly and lots of asians come by here too. Most items are around $10-$16. They do have deals breakfast and lunch I think, but I don't get off till after 5pm.
Lots of parking. It's in a plaza next to a laundromat, dry cleaner, and a real estate company. If you go after work there's usually lots of...
