Fish and chips craving - totally satisfied!
I'll admit that I was slightly put off by the fact that this is a chain, but all that disappeared when I tasted the fish. Excellent batter, perfectly fried, tasty. Added a little lemon, a touch of salt and pepper, made a small dipping pool of malt vinegar, a knife to cut and apply tartar sauce, and a fork to bring it home...delicious! Good chips too!
I was dining solo so I sat at the counter, ordered my two piece F&C and a cold draught Modelo. I thought I ought to order a salad or something so I don't look like a total animal, so I grabbed the menu - unfortunately there really is no 'side' or 'house' salad. Just big sounding salads that you can add stuff on top of. There's a wedge, but if I want iceberg, I'll do it myself...anywho I ordered the ceviche. Glad I did. It had the elements of a salad, plus it was fairly tasty-though the tortilla chips it came with could use a bit of study.
The server at the counter was perfect. Friendly, efficient, smiley.

We started off with the crab cheese bread which was fantastic. Bread was cooked crispy and soft inside and they top it with garlic cheese and lump crab. Great starter. We also got the salt and pepper calamari which was also very tasty.
I ordered the Lobster Roll which was loaded with nice chunks of lobster. The roll it's served on was delicious enough by itself and with the lobster inside, mouth watering. On the table there was also the crab fried which were loaded with fresh crab chunks but the fries were the skinny ones. Ask for the larger fries that come with meals. I will next time. Also there was the fish and chips meal. The fried fish was cooked perfectly, not greasy and flaky inside. The fish with that order is also large which was nice because some places jip you with small pieces....
