First off, they do take reservations. It's a small restaurant that seats approximately 30 people. They do sell beer, mimosas, and micheladas on the special menu occasions. I went with a party of 6 and tried almost everyone's dish. We started off with the crab cheese bread which was fantastic. Bread was cooked crispy and soft inside and they top it with garlic cheese and lump crab. Great starter. We also got the salt and pepper calamari which was also very tasty. I ordered the Lobster Roll which was loaded with nice chunks of lobster. The roll it's served on was delicious enough by itself and with the lobster inside, mouth watering. On the table there was also the crab fried which were loaded with fresh crab chunks but the fries were the skinny ones. Ask for the larger fries that come with meals. I will next time. Also there was the fish and chips meal. The fried fish was cooked perfectly, not greasy and flaky inside. The fish with that order is also large which was nice because some places jip you with small pieces. Not this place.

Food wasn’t bad also no to tasty, Steak look like frozen and cook in the microwave, clam chowder to thick, fish and chips , fish to oily-chips are ok Creamy lemon seafood pasta the calamari was a pice of rubber , prawn was fishy And Caesar salad was ok. The waitress was nice and trying to do the that she can , but she was alone in the dining room, means our food was in the kitchen window for long time and arrived cold, (We waited the food for long time and I was very hangry and disappointed that I forgot to take pictures of the food) she tried to make it right for us, I appreciated but the bad experience was already damage the whole experience and lunch The place it’s small kind of fishing and surfing painting in the walls don’t looks very clean I need to think more than twice to give this place a second chance. Maybe in one of the others locación……will seeā˜¹ļø

Stopped in by chance for lunch, being that their sign caught my attention. I’ve been craving a good fish and chips spot for sometime. I saw that they had good reviews and decided I’d try them out. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food arrived fairly quickly and fresh which was a huge bonus. I ordered the fish and chips combo plate with a cod fillet, huge jumbo shrimp, fried oysters, and scallops. All the seafood definitely was fresh and cooked right. Definitely will return with family to sample some dinner options when I’m nearby next time.

Fish and chips craving - totally satisfied!

I'll admit that I was slightly put off by the fact that this is a chain, but all that disappeared when I tasted the fish. Excellent batter, perfectly fried, tasty. Added a little lemon, a touch of salt and pepper, made a small dipping pool of malt vinegar, a knife to cut and apply tartar sauce, and a fork to bring it home...delicious! Good chips too!

I was dining solo so I sat at the counter, ordered my two piece F&C and a cold draught Modelo. I thought I ought to order a salad or something so I don't look like a total animal, so I grabbed the menu - unfortunately there really is no 'side' or 'house' salad. Just big sounding salads that you can add stuff on top of. There's a wedge, but if I want iceberg, I'll do it myself...anywho I ordered the ceviche. Glad I did. It had the elements of a salad, plus it was fairly tasty-though the tortilla chips it came with could use a bit of study.

The server at the counter was perfect. Friendly, efficient, smiley.

Going out to eat these days is something of a special, rare event. It's extremely pricey...but when the food is good and the service is excellent, cost concerns become secondary to the satisfaction provided by the occasion. That's how I felt when leaving Anchors and that's how I still feel writing this review. Chain or no chain,...

5 Stars for the best fried fish and such in San Jose. 1 Star for your Key Lime Pie because there was no lime in it, period. So I'm going to share my favorite recipe with you.

Ingredients Graham cracker crust 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/3 cup sugar 6 tbsp butter melted

Key Lime Filling 28 oz sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup sour cream 3/4 cup key lime juice Zest from 4 key limes

Instructions

Graham cracker crust Preheat oven to 375F. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and butter in a small bowl. Press the crumb mixture into an 9" pie pan. Bake for 7 minutes. Cool for 30 minutes.

Key Lime Filling Preheat oven to 350F Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, lime juice, and lime zest in a medium bowl. Pour into prepared graham cracker crust and bake for 10 minutes. Pull it out and let it cool down before placing in the fridge to chill up.

Best of luck and I hope that you try this recipe. The best ever...
