I used the drive thru around 12:45 a.m. This Carl's Jr Restaurant is a 24 hour restaurant. The drive thru is the only option after 10:00 p.m. and if you are using your EBT, please be aware that it is only accepted inside the restaurant, at the counter. If you are low, or extremely low income and rely upon the Dept of Agriculture's SNAP benefits to subsidize your food dollars, then you already know that all Electronic Funds are not equal because anyone who has ever experienced that moment of frustration and embarrassment and absolute horror when the counter clerk announces that EBT is currently down and you have to take your child away from a fast food counter empty handed... That has never happened here to my knowledge. I have some knowledge and experience in this area. That is why I am called Miss Smarty Pants.
In my opinion, this Carl's Jr Restaurant has a good, earnest crew who seem skilled in treating every single customer with courtesy and respect and who do not seem interested in robbing anyone of their dignity. Thank you, Carl's Jr, for being an outstanding beacon of light and food for every hour of every day. And thank you for the super clean parking lot, too! My only complaint is this: why did you replace those wonderful, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, crinkle cut fries you served in the late seventies and early eighties with those icky smooth french fries? You still make the best burgers, though. And bacon does make everything better, so good...
Read moreMy son, like a lot of children at his young age didn't alert me to his need to use the bathroom until he was in an almost dire situation. He's not shy, so he ran ahead of me into this establishment and asked if he could use the restroom. I truly despise companies that have no compassion. I understand that a business's bottom line is to make a profit, but they also rely on customers and repeat business to make that profit. I technically wasn't a customer at the time since I did not purchase anything beforehand, so it was in their right to say no to my son, but I have been a customer at this location many late nights on my way home from work and many other locations as well. If you have children then you should understand me when I say, I don't care if I am denied access to your facilities, but when you have no compassion for children, that really bothers me. This is what I have an issue with and will forever leave me with a feeling of hatred and disgust. I've worked I'm the restaurant industry for a very long time now and this was not something in would have done to anyone's child. I'm sure it's no big deal to large company, whether they loose my business and I've never thought of terminating my relationship with this...
Read moreClean open space with plenty of lighting and parking and the gas station just next door. You can also easily access the freeway north or south to the 101. Safe and secure with plenty of lighting at night.
Staff was friendly and welcoming I did not feel rushed or to expedite my order. Employee recorded my order precisely and efficiently. Plenty of ketchup and napkins with nothing missing.
King restroom and clean dining area with plenty of seating and baby seats. Automatic refreshment dispenser with a broad array of flavors. Drive-thru went quickly did not have to wait that much at all.
The food was cooked to a standard that all Carl's Jr are upheld too. Sometimes fries may come a little under heated but this time the fries came out hot and steamy. Salt content with light and fry was chewable and not stiff. Nice golden fries. The mustard and ketchup on the hamburger with smeared on the meat correctly and not dripped or ran over outside the bun. Unlike other places chicken nuggets were cooked through and through.
Great place to take a bite rest a little and have a good time with...
