Our new go-to place for bánh cuốn (steamed rice rolls), bánh beo (việt savoury rice cake) and bánh ít tran (viet sticky rice dumplings).

It’s a small mom and pop shop but the quality is amazing. All the cakes and rolls are made to the right texture and not hardened when cooled down.

My husband and I tried various restaurants in San Jose and Orange county to find the right bánh cuốn (steamed rice rolls) and we were so surprised to find that the best option is so close to home!! Granted, at restaurants you get more toppings; but if you are only interested in the rolls, check out this place.

We normally re-steam rather than use microwave when serving the rice cakes and rolls at home for better...
