Update: Still wonderful. Aloo gobi best I have ever had. Naan very fresh and delicious. Malai Kofta always a favorite. Service excellent. update: We order takeout from Dawaat often because the food is spectacular, but last night we had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant for the first time. The new decor is nice! And the Aloo Tikki appetizer was "do not miss this" phenomenal. We ordered several vegetarian entrees we had not had before and everything was brilliant. Also when we asked for a dish to be made "mild" they were very accommodating. Mild, but still full of flavor. Love this hidden gem of a restaurant. Prior review still stands: Absolutely amazing, delicious Vegetable Biryani ! So many layers of flavor. Aroma mouthwatering. A very generous portion (could feed several people), and came with a beautiful Raita. It's clear that a lot of love and care went into preparing this dish. Looking forward to trying all the other vegetarian options on the menu. Very quick service, very clean restaurant.

Dawaat Indian restaurant, a hidden gem just down the road that promises fresh home food. The place is new, and the staff are welcoming as soon as you arrive. A great place to come after a long days work for a quick home made meal. The menu offers great mix of dishes all at affordable prices. I ordered the paneer tikka masala and the veggie biryani with naan and samosas. The portions are huge and everything was served in a timely manner. I did ask the server what she could recommend that wasn't chicken but she kept telling me the chicken tikka masala was the best lol. I will have to come back and try that but this time I did just want some veggie items. 3 out of 5 stars because the place was really cold. Made it difficult to be comfortable whilst eating. Other than that - first impressions were good.

I had an amazing dining experience here! The food was bursting with authentic flavor and made fresh to order. The butter chicken was incredibly tender and creamy with the perfect balance of spices—honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The grilled chicken skewers were juicy, perfectly charred, and paired really well with the mint and tamarind sauces. Beyond the delicious food, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. The portions were generous and the presentation was clean and inviting. You can really feel the pride they put into their cooking. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving quality Indian food with great flavor and a cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🙌🔥

My family and I decided to try last week when they first opened. We have tried many other Indian food restaurants in the area and always leave disappointed. We’ve been back to Dawaat four times in the last two weeks because it is that good.

The quality and consistency of the food keeps us coming back. All the protein is well seasoned and super moist, never over cooked. The curries and masalas have very well balanced flavors and are not greasy like other restaurants we’ve tried. The pakoras and samosas are fried to perfection, and the mango lassi is my favorite treat on a hot day. I always appreciate reviews with pictures but we are always so excited to dig in. Will update with pictures in the future.

Not only is the food delicious, the service is quality. The wait staff is warm and attentive and happy to answer any questions. My SIL has an allergy to onion and they are very accommodating.

I’m very impressed with everything, especially considering they have only been open a few weeks.

I really hope this place builds traction with the community so they can stay open and keep blessing us with their...

If culinary disappointment had a headquarters, this place would be its CEO. From the moment I walked in, everything screamed “we stopped trying years ago.” My order came wrong, my concerns were dismissed with the enthusiasm of a brick, and the staff acted like customer service was an optional elective they failed.

The food? A masterclass in how to turn potential into regret. Every bite was an existential crisis — the seasoning seemed to have fled the kitchen out of embarrassment. And somehow, they had the audacity to serve it with a smile, as if confidence could disguise catastrophe.

If I could rate it lower than zero, I would. I left wondering how a restaurant like this still exists — maybe out of pure spite. My only advice? Close the doors, turn off the lights, and let mercy finally...
