México Lindo at Silver Creek — Restaurant in San Jose

I went here a few years ago and really loved the food. I didn't pay much attention to the service then because I was there for a large gathering so this food was buffet style. When I went previously we had chili rellanos and enchiladas and they were both very delicious. I brought my aunt here because she really loves chili rellanos and I was so impressed the last time.

The parking situation is good. They have a sign that says wait to be seated when you enter but we stood there for almost 20 minutes before I just went to the bar and asked if we can seat ourselves.

The service was not just awful, it was practically not existent. There was no sincere apologies or niceties for the fact that we were ignored the entire time we were there. I literally had to get up to go get silverware (which we asked for 3 times), our bill, refills and to pay our bill. To be clear I'm aware that it is short staffed everywhere and I would have no issues having done all this if I saw that everybody there was actually working and was at least apologetic about this situation. COOK DOES NOT WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER RESTROOM USE. I was a bit hesitant to go in here at first but I went with family and they were hungry so we ended up settling for this place. Do yourself a favor and go to a different restaurant. Don’t waste your money here. First off I had ordered a sangria which didn’t even taste like one at all. It seemed like they just poured red wine on the rocks and the server got mad and was bickering with me back and fourth when we had told him I didn’t want it and if I can get a different drink. Then one of my family members had ordered 3 agua de orchatas and they were tasteless and had no flavor to it. Not only were the drinks not good but the only cook they had there during the time we went ended up going to the restroom and didn’t even bother washing his hands and proceeded to go back into the kitchen and make the food. (My dad ended up using the restroom at the same time, only reason why we knew this.) After this we just ended up leaving and...

This was not a good experience. First off we got there and the hostess told us it would be 20 minutes till she could seat us even though there were seats open. Then she asked for our number so she could text us when our seat was ready. We sat outside waiting to be seated. 39 minutes later we noticed a family of 5 we're seated right as they walked in. We asked the hostess what's going on. Her claim is the other hostess is now waitressing so she was not aware we were there. Yet they texted me a link to be able to track my seating and get a hold of me when our tables ready. Then they placed us outside in the corner at a dirty table. We walked out and have to say they need to think about training and hiring. Management needs a overhaul. Don't waste your time no matter how...
