Nubia's Pasteleria — Restaurant in San Jose

I ordered twice from this place as a friend recommended them to me. When ordering he doesn't ask for a name etc (and it's all over text)for the order so I always thought that's weird but I guess its his method. Any who I ordered again from him for my daughter's 3rd bday and again didn't ask for a name etc. I had my cousin go pick up her cake to be told there was no cake for that order! I called him and he tells me he doesnt have the cake ready that the order must have got lost and it happens, but that he saw the order from our text messages. I was very upset as I only had an hour till the party! Very unprofessional for me to go in and call him INSTEAD OF HIM CALLING ME TO let me know what was going on. NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND OR ORDER FROM HIM AGAIN. He offered a discount for another cake but I didn't accept as I will not be contributing my money to...

I was looking for a bakery to get my 1 year old a cake, since it was last minute that we decided to get him a cake for his birthday today and I wasn’t expecting to find a place that would make it right on the spot, but I was lucky enough to find Nubia’s Pastelería..they told me that they only take orders but that since it was a small cake they would do an exception and decided to take my order and had the cake ready within 30 minutes. I was impressed, and the cake came out super delicious and the decoration was beautiful. Beyond my expectations!...

I’ve been Nubia’s costumer for about 9yrs ! Even before she opened her bakery she used to sell from her home . Now I give her 5 stars for her amazing delicious cakes but I’ve been very disappointed with her costumer service ! My family n I have always been loyal costumers but the last couple of times it’s been so hard to reach her n they never get back to us on time n very recently they told us they only take orders on Mondays !
