Starbucks — Restaurant in San Jose

While this is my local Starbucks for the last few months & I have some bias, I've also been to a lot of different locations throughout the country and this location stands tall amongst many. Very organized and well run and at the same time, the staff is very personable, helpful and friendly and get the orders out quickly. Everyone is treated respectfully like family (or a good neighbor) and the store is almost always clean and orderly (it can get quite hectic when the local schools let out in the afternoons), but even then, it mostly runs like a well oiled machine. It’s a Starbucks so the food and drink are standard, nothing wrong there.

This one specifically is one I will avoid in the future however. There are always tons of staff, and my last visit was no different, yet I stood at the register for 5 minutes with no one else in line until someone even spoke to me and even then it wasn’t very pleasant.

The only people in here working hard was the one person manning the the pick up counter and one person drying and cleaning-off the outdoor tables, the same can’t be said of everyone else (of which there was no shortage of).

This location is really close to my home, i go there 90% of my starbucks visits. This morning i ordered a drink but when i received it i forgot i wanted the cold version. I told the barista i forgot to say i wanted the frappacino version and i said thats ok i forgot to tell you because i thought that was only a frappacino and i began to walk away and she offered to make the right one and i was very pleased with her customer service skills. Even though it was my fault, i left there pleased and will return once more. I've been to other locations and businesses who let me leave unpleasantly, which is way i never returned to them.
