Attention Edited to reply to owner’s response to my review can find it below At the entrance the hostess doesn't speak a word of Spanish the server a gentleman that started to help me super kind and professional then later i interacted with a lady that came over to my table and started to argue with me over so inappropriate subject discrimination. Which at this point she discriminated against me. I don't know her name she's old middle aged I would say with glasses I decided to leave due to her disrespectful behavior and nasty attitude towards me and check this out the worst is that she kept smiling at me to the point that i told her are you going to keep arguing with me she said no but im right again her topic discrimination she walked away i got up and walked away as i was closer to the main entrance to leave i look at her i said im leaving she said ok thank you! With a smirky smile. I said im leaving because you are so rude. My understanding is that she has been working there for years need to cut off bad weeds i believe she managed the interaction with clients as she pleases. of course she is not the one that pays the restaurant bills. im sure owners might have been very careful not to offend people the give them business. Her topic Discrimination" honestly does what she does. Please find this lady's name and post it ain't coming back unless i get an apology from her I don't think so people like her come around to be pretty fake. i might be wrong but im pretty sure im on point. Too many years working there doesn't give her the right to bring subjects about discrimination against with people that come to and want to enjoy a meal. The question is did i discriminate anyone in the restaurant? The clear answer is No. that lady went on and on talking about discrimination because the hostess happened to not speak Spanish at all well no big deal she made it a big deal and ended up to be a big issue for me to put up with such disrespect.plus i ended up not eating however plate was already on the table and she thought i was going to stay there just because food arrived at the table while she continued to argue with me about discrimination what that has to do with me? Edited Attention” replied to owner on January 24 2024. In response to your reply. Common sense that apologies shouldn’t be forced whatsoever other than that I only wish what you wish for me. I’m sending back to you what you gave to me for instance in this case you gave nothing but… . ..etc. .you can complete the sentence if you like. For future reference no review is absurd just so you know. I wouldn’t review the food because I didn’t even touch the food not a single bite i never put a food in my mouth from the plate I was served I should’ve mentioned that earlier on my original review and afterwards. No chance to taste the food. Arrogance at its prime in this place. Clearly i was discriminated against based on their response if at some point any doubts? It’s pretty evident on the way they treat people in their restaurant check it out if they don’t happen to erase their response to my review. i would not be...
Read moreMy dining experience at Mexico Lindo on the evening of Friday, November 15th, took a deeply unsettling turn when I witnessed a rat scurrying around the restaurant. The rat appeared at the table directly across from us, immediately startling us as it moved through the U-shaped booth, then toward the service stand. This stand, had an open drawer with neatly folded forks and on the countertop water pitchers, napkins, red chip baskets, and a large tub of chips used for refills.
What was particularly alarming was how the rat seemed to know exactly where to go. It made a beeline for the top of the chip container and then scurried down the booth's backrest before disappearing into a hole in the corner. The commotion caught the attention of nearby busboys, but by then, we were so horrified and disgusted but had already paid so we quickly gathered our things to leave.
Outside, the manager came over and attempted to explain that the restaurant had been in business for 40 years without such an issue. However, the rat's precise behavior--its direct route to the chip counter, strongly suggested this was not an isolated incident, nor a new problem. It was deeply disturbing to witness, and my primary concern is the risk of food contamination. Given the proximity of the rat to areas where food is stored and prepared, it's frightening to think how much of the food could have been tainted.
The lack of an appropriate response only made matters worse. The restaurant offered no compensation, instead offering excuses for the situation. To make matters even worse, I felt nauseous all night, likely a result of the appalling sight and the disturbing implications about food safety.
I am truly disturbed by the restaurant's complete lack of urgency in addressing a serious hygiene issue, and I will never return to Mexico Lindo. No one should take the risk of eating there, especially with the potential for rats...

I went to Mexico Lindo this past Thursday (12/16) to celebrate my aunt’s birthday. It was my first time at there, so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleased to learn that the decor is very festive, the food is very good, and the service is excellent.
Our waiter was Saul (I think this was his name--he wore no tag that I saw, and I arrived late, so my uncle had already ascertained his name), and he was VERY attentive. Whenever my iced tea was low, Saul was there asking if I wanted another. And there was a busboy right there when my plate was finished, asking if I wanted him to take it away. That's the kind of service that separates your average restaurants from great ones.
I had the enchilada plate, which comes with rice and beans. All very good. But I think I'll try the taco plate next time. That's what my cousin had, and the taco look VERY good.
Prices run high at about $15 to $18 a person. Of course, your tab will be higher if you add on liquor (and I wouldn’t mind trying an authentic margarita or, ooh, sangria (not certain if that’s even on the menu), but my family doesn't usually opt for alcohol so I didn't get anything...this time). But the service is worth it.
If you try Mexico Lindo, I don't think you'll be displeased. And have a margarita for me (preferably...
