This place was recommended to me by some locals. We were visiting on vacation. Now, I have never had Nigerian food so I have no basis of comparison. My judgment is entirely based on raw enjoyment without any comparison to what it should be.
First let me say the bad: we waited about 1 hour for the food to come out. We were essentially there just after opening so maybe this was a factor. Nonetheless, the wait was too long.
Now despite this I'm still giving 5-stars because the food was just that good. I was blown away by the flavors. It was so delicious. Everything was so good. If this place were local for me, I would definitely become a regular. My only criticism is that the Chop Life platter that we ordered was a bit too heavy on deep-fried items. It could have been more balanced. But it was all delicious.

Read moreI stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant on the last day of my trip, and I regret not finding it sooner! As a delightful complimentary treat, they served puff puff with a tomato curry sauce on the side which was absolutely mind blowing! The tomato sauce tasted just like my grandma's, instantly bringing me back home. For my main course, I ordered the jollof bowl with suya on the side. The smoky grilled spiced mushroom was a standout; it was hands down the best I've ever had. I couldn't stop eating it, deliciousness at its best for sure!! The mushroom paired perfectly with the jollof rice bowl, creating a delightful combination. Over all simply lip smacking good!! The chef was incredibly warm and gracious, attending to my needs and engaging in fascinating conversations about food, spices, and culture. I can't wait to revisit this place next time I'm in...
Read moreAuthentic Nigerian food! Mind blowing, utterly delicious, high quality healthy ingredients, burst of flavors, sensory overload, comforting to your soul and taste buds! I cannot recommend this enough. I was a repeat customer here for almost my entire stay in Puerto Rico, because I could feel the love and energy went into making the food. Super high quality. Feels like comfort food you get at home (doesn't taste like commercial restaurant food at all). Being a health conscious foodie, and growing up in south India, I have high standards for food in terms of taste and quality. But this place more than exceeded my expectations (which doesn't happen very often), and now Nigerian food is one of my favorite cuisines! I'm so lucky I discovered this gem. Highly recommend. Please treat yourself to this awesome food, you'll love...
