5 stars for food -5 stars for the fact that my family can no longer eat there due to vaccine discrimination. So much for being a “healthy” bistro. Health cannot be injected. Health is what you eat, how you exercise, daily choices. I am extremely sad because this was one of the few “healthy” places my family enjoys eating at. Lana’s healthy bistro should operate at 50% to welcome all but instead decided to follow the herd to slaughter. My grandma spent two weeks paralyzed in the hospital after her second Pfizer shot in March. She almost died. I’m expected to risk my life for restaurants? Not now not ever. I’ll take my money to Organico Bistro in Caguas. It’s a sad time.
Update: temporary madness? Do you think the measures the world is taking is temporary? Whatever you need to tell yourself for discrimination. History will not remember you well and YOU have to live with that, unfortunately. You have chosen to discriminate against patrons and that is your choice and your choice alone. I’ve alerted all my friends here to save them the heartache of being denied service at your restaurant. It is discrimination and it is WRONG. I cried all afternoon and it ruined the short amount of time I have with my mom’s visit here. I could never imagine treating customers the way we were treated today. Incredibly sad.
Note: anyone who wants access to good food, check out Organico Bistro in Caguas. They even have a sign that says “we are all equal” in front. ❤️
2nd update: since you’re now lying and stating that my mom and I skipped your alcohol station AND didn’t wear masks (wow), I’ve attached screenshots because I CLEARLY asked you your business’ stance prior to coming in today and you CLEARLY said 50%. We wore masks. We always use the alcohol station. Your mask was under your nose which is hilarious that you’re lying about ME now. I’m glad I have the screenshots that prove you are a...

I had a lovely breakfast experience overall. The service was attentive and friendly, setting a welcoming tone from the moment I walked in. I started with their coconut oatmeal, beautifully topped with fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries—simple, nourishing, and visually appealing. For my main plate, I went with scrambled eggs and turkey ham done my way, and it was just right. Paired with their classic 8 oz cup of coffee, it made for a satisfying and comforting brunch.
The ambiance was pleasant, with soft music that complemented the cozy atmosphere—until a new guest arrived with a young child, around 6 to 8 years old. The little one began exploring the space, touching various decorations, and eventually found the TV remote. She turned the volume up significantly, pushing the music to around 74 decibels. At that point, the environment shifted from calm to disruptive, making conversation difficult without raising our voices—something that felt out of place for a brunch setting.
While the food and service remained excellent, I’d suggest a bit more attention to maintaining the ambiance, especially when young guests are present. Still, I’ll be back for the oatmeal and eggs—just hoping for a quieter...
Read moreAlright, so I am not one to eat healthy/green foods. I love red meat and fish and the occasional chicken but my doctor almost killed me when he saw both my cholesterol levels and my weight and so I took it upon myself to cut back the red meat and the carbs/sugar/fat a little bit. I ordered today from this place, a bit afraid since usually I am not a fan of these healthy food spots (I always find the food tastes like nothing) but my God... this was delicious! I got the coconut, turmeric & ginger power bowl with chicken breasts (I need me some protein) and Jasmine Rice (not a fan of quinoa) and I took a chance and got the detox water (lavender? Didn't even know you could drink that!). EVERYTHING was delicious. I even ate the salad! (Mostly because of their special sauce, so good). I will most definitely eat here again. I would eat more often if they were closer (I live in Carolina and work in Canovanas). If they were closer, I would eat both breakfast and my lunch here every day, but as it is, it's a bit too far for regular visits, especially...
