Los Cabos Mexican Food — Restaurant in San Marcos

We went out for dinner last night and ordered the special combination of three rolled tacos with a bean burrito and a five-taco plate. The three rolled taco plate had hamburger meat that was deep-fried. It didn't taste good at all, and you get a free drink that you have to remind them of. The five-taco plate combo was not good either. My wife had me taste one of them, and the meat seemed old and had a spoiled taste because it was deep-fried, making it taste like goat meat. Three of her tacos were good, but two had bad meat, so we left them there. This place used to be great for fresh and delicious food. This is the second time I've had issues; the first time, I ordered a carne asada burrito 🌯 to go, and when I got home, the meat was dry and hard, like it had been sitting on the grill for a long time. I was new to this restraunt and new to San Marcos. So I wanted to try this place out. I was a little confused on what I wanted from the menu and it look like the lady at the register was in a hurry to take my order so I right away pick some thing from the menu and right there I could tell the lady at the register was irritated because I had told her i wanted something from the menu and then changed my mind telling her I was sorry. From there on she had a bad attitude. The people that went in before me and after I order looked like regulars because the lady at the register called some by name. I've been coming here for years. We use to come weekly but since moving from the area, I would say it's been about 3 years since my last visit. I was hoping that it was as good as it was back then. I have to say it sure was!! I order shrimp cocktail, and street style carne asada taco. Every spoon food had a shrimp, it was so good! Carne asada taco was very tasty well seasoned.
