Overall, I liked our first meal from Suavecito, and am excited to have another neighborhood option for Mexican takeout. We ordered the Quesabirrias, Al Pastor Burrito, Kids Bean & Cheese Burrito, and a Cauliflower & Mushroom taco.
The quesabirrias were generously portioned (very meaty!) and had a nice crispy shell - be sure to grab and eat yours promptly because the steam had already started to chip away at the crunch after just a few minutes in the packaging :) The side of broth was very flavorful. Overall, I like the quesabirrias at Los Tacos Locos better, but this is a very close second.
The Al Pastor burrito was good. I felt it was a bit off on the balance of ingredients and would have liked less rice. But the meat was flavorful and the Mayacoba Beans are out of this world delicious.
The 9 year old ruled the bean & cheese burrito a little too spicy for his taste - but he very much enjoyed the side of tots.
The real standout to me was actually the cauliflower and mushroom taco. I've had similar in the past but this one is probably one of the best I've had.
The online ordering experience through their website was super easy. The food was actually ready about 10 minutes before we asked for pickup. Parking is not challenging if you go around the corner from where the location is. Folks were friendly and very appreciative for the order.
We'll definitely try Suavecito again - will probably try the hotdog, ramen, and pizza next - and look forward to their...
Read moreCame with a friend to try the birria pizza and the birria grilled cheese and neither disappointed!
Driving here, we had a moment of doubt that we were going the right direction. It's literally located in a little industrial corner with just the smallest walkup window and a banner calling their name. But this literal hole in the wall is definitely a treat for your taste buds!
Food was ready about 15 minutes after ordering. We opted to eat in the car since there were no outdoor dining options available.
We began with the grilled cheese which was super toasty and very generous on the birria inside. A thick layer of cheddar also accompanied the bread with a generous serving of consome. It was crunchy, savory, and oh so unctuous. SO GOOD!
For the pizza, its a thicker crust also generously loaded with birria, sliced radishes for crunch, pico for tang, and drizzled with sauce. It does not come with consome but we ended up using the consome from the grilled cheese anyway. Did it need the consome? No. Did the consome make it even more worth it? Oh yes!
I really wanted to try the churro donuts as well but we definitely had no room. Having said that, this experience was definitely so good that a return trip is...

Anywho, birria taco joints are the new trendy food spot so I was very excited when these guys opened so close to my place. Yay.
They're located in a random spot off an industrial road, with just a sign and floral door front.
They offer delivery and pickup via grubhub, but I still recommend calling your order in or showing up in person to order so they receive your full support vs having to give Grubhub 30% of their sale.
Staff are friendly, food is fresh.
We got the birria tacos, carne asada tacos, torillas and salsa and the churro donuts. Birria tacos have better flavor than the carne asada. And they stay in the actual taco much better too. Torilla chips are fresh and homemade, they come in a big bag so I snacked on them throughout the day.
Parking is difficult on the actual road the storefront is on but there's plenty 1 block over by all the residential homes. Not sure how easy that will be during evening but daytime didn't hold any problems.
Overall, great birria tacos even without...
