I have been going to this location quit a lot, I know my kids and his friends buy sandwich from there. Let me just say that the old lady that works there is nice and she works hard to keep it orderly and clean. I just ordered a sandwich today. I suddenly saw 13 dollars bill which it should have been 11 dollars and changed. I noticed it had charged me 2 dollars tip. I told the lady I did not pay tips. She said I must have chosen a tip button. I told her I did not do anything. This gets messy, when a young man which I have never see him in this store came and told me I must have touched to pay tip and they can not do anything now and I must pay now and that is it. He got under my skin real bad and told that I know that I know how tipping works, but he kept being real sarcastic, and in condescending manor kept repeating really as if I was born under the cave somewhere in a third world country and came here. Fortunately. old lady whom I see her all the time step in cancelled my order and billed me without the tips. I called that costumer service. I should have left a tip for the lady only. As far as the young man that could not make sandwich properly because I saw the way he was handling bread, staffing it and asking questions he should not be there. To me even if I had made a mistake and touched a tip button, he should have honored my request to refund rather than fighting with me. That is called costumer service 101. He should learn customer service 101 before working in any business. People like him will make business go broke. During my visit few months ago , I have noticed that the staff did not change their gloves when serving vegetarian items. This raised significant hygiene concerns for me. When I inquired about it, the employee defended their actions instead of addressing my concern. Additionally, I was charged twice for my order, which was frustrating, since I have returned the one of the food which was served without changing the gloves with less charge . Today I spoke with another employee around 10 AM regarding a service issue. Rather than addressing my concern professionally, He dismissed me and remarked, “You play too much.” This response felt disrespectful and unprofessional, especially as a paying customer.
As someone who values convenience, I’ve always appreciated having a Subway location so close to home. However, these negative experiences are causing me to consider visiting other locations further away, where I hope to receive better service. I kindly request that you address these issues by ensuring staff receive proper training on customer service and hygiene protocols. Read moreWent to buy a veggie Patty footlong sandwich two days back. I was told veggie Patty is discontinued. They also mentioned that they have been taken off the price display. So I opted for veggie delight. When I went today, I was surprised to see veggie Patties. The person who attended to me today was present the other day as well. I asked her how veggie Patties were in stock. And she said that sub way was not giving them Patties and they only got it today after 20-25 days. And How they had to get a meat slicing machine because subway won’t give them sliced meat etc etc. I didn’t eat the sub last time but today I did. The bread was not fresh and was dry, sauces were put miserly. When I asked her to put chipotle southwest sauce, she put another sauce saying that the label was different but sauce was the same. I had gone there after a long time. The cleanliness has gone down, my sandwiches were badly wrapped and packed.
