China Buffet — Restaurant in Sandersville

The food was unremarkable. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good, either. We ate from the buffet. [Not nearly as good as the buffet at China Garden in Dublin.] But everything was well- stocked and attended to. Our 2 year-old ate very little, but they charged us the same as they charged our 8 year old, $5.89. We asked if there was no discount for little toddlers like this, and they said no. Most buffet restaurants offer discounted prices for kids who are under 3 and eat only 3 bites of food, so this place disappointed us a little in price. I liked the fried wontons. The fried squash was very mushy and greasy. Their chicken fingers have an interesting seasoning. This establishment gets a 1 across the board. Not only was it nasty but also empty so there is no reason why it should be in this state. The women bathroom trash was over flowing with nasty unsanitary things on top. The food on the bar was old and mushy. Everything was the same color and had the same taste and was smothered in gravy even when it shouldn't be so that they could keep it out all day, and when we asked for fresh food she said that they wasn't cooking anything else. We were so pleased. Good price. Good food. In my experience, these types of buffets are low quality food prepared poorly- not the case with this place. The food was top notch for a buffet and the egg rolls, wings (a delicious lemon pepper) and teriyaki chicken were good by any standard.
