Love!!! They were the first coffee shop we tried once we arrived in town for our honeymoon and we haven't stopped going. Wonderful service and the nicest people you can meet, especially being from out of town. Their chai tea latte is the best I've ever had. I have a very sensitive digestive tract and therefore can't enjoy dairy or bread/gluten like everyone else can because I'm intolerant to them. Back home in Texas, I've had to stop drinking chai tea lattes because of some ingredient that literally ruins my digestive tract. So to finally enjoy a chai tea latte as delicious as Mt. On the return, I wanted time to stop for awhile, and I pulled into Mount Hood Roasters, tucked just back from the small highway with a very comfortable outdoor setting around an old tree, somehow protected from bustle of the passing cars. I guess it changed baristas and management philosophy . at which point they should have re named it mt. hood novelty drinks. The menu got big and quality got small. Please bring back the old roasters that made great beans and knew how to pull a great espresso. There’s too many places in Welches and Rhododendron that make sub par espresso, this one just added to that list.
