We have ordered from FK for a few months at my job, usually 2-3 pizzas at a time and frankly it's ALL over the place. There are times where all the pizza comes out great although small for the asking price and competition in the area. Other times, I'm assuming an inexperienced chef is the cause, the pizza comes out 30-50% inedible due to giant bubbles, over cooked dough. Crust is more than 30% of the pizza about half the time which is insane and it can knock out a full grown man if thrown at them, it's that rock hard.
This place is insanely inconsistent and even when they get it right it's hard to feel like I'm not being ripped off because again 15-20$ for a personal pan pizza is pretty wild. The staff are great, minus whoever is cooking the pizza on week days around lunch time, with good attitudes and friendly.
All that said, as someone who lived in the NJ/NY area for 27 years this place is a solid 6/10 when it's good and a 1/10 easily when it's not properly cooked. I have gotten pizzas at lunch that I can't believe left the door because they were so obviously over done and made by someone who clearly has never made a pizza in their life. Quality checking would help this business drastically especially when you're asking for a premium price on essentially 7-11 pizza with a twist unless it's the rare occasion they get it right.
Maybe I caught a pizza chef in training for the few months I was ordering from them, but we'll see. A friend talked me into giving them another chance tonight and I look forward to updating since we have never tried to...

Where do I start? I went to this place yesterday, hoping that it would be as good as lafesta and dover. I was wrong for one. The woman behind the counter was rude and condescending. I was looking over the menu and I decided I wanted a steak and cheese sub she told me that their steak was not ready yet, so I told my friend that I I wanted to check some other place out he said he just wanted to eat there so I got a barbecue chicken pizza and crab Rangoon’s. I tried to order a large pizza and then was informed that they only have small pizzas 12 inch. Then I looked at my friend and I was like oh well I don’t think this is going to fill me up. The woman laughed at me and said we’re called fat kid pizza. You definitely won’t be hungry. Well she was right here we are 24 hours later. I am definitely not hungry. And I definitely have food poisoning. And I understand accidents happen unfortunately, with all these things stacked up, I will not be coming back. Also, if you look through the reviews you’ll find out that this place does not actually have over 200 reviews there’s some sort of issue and it’s actually for other pizza places that have been in that building. Oh, and the pizza had maybe six pieces of chicken on it and a ridiculous amount of red onion. I hope a decent pizza shop gets...
Read moreThis Pizza is Fantastic!!! We are from Connecticut, up for a mini vacation in Old Orchard, and We wanted a "Woodfired Pizza", so I Google it and came up with "Fat Kid Woodfired Pizza"!!! Who wouldn't want to try a pizza from there!!! It did not disappoint! We drove over about 30 mins, found it, went in and ordered a Bacon & Hamburg Pizza, there's only 1 size, but it was a good size for 2 people with leftovers...we left and went down to a small park to eat our pizza while it's hot, well it was so DELICIOUS, perfectly cooked, you can taste the "wood" flavor throughout every bite! It was sooooo good, we had to go right back and order another 1 to bring back to our room where we are staying to snack on later! The gentleman who owns it was super friendly, along with a woman and another gentleman...super fun people to talk to, and the pizza hit the Spot!!! We definitely will be popping in for more pizza next time we come back to Maine! Your New Customers from Connecticut, Leave the light on, We'll...
