The food here is not bad. This review is the result of horrible service. I placed an order for delivery, called at 5:30 pm, and was told to expect delivery in approximately 40 minutes. Well 40 min passed and no delivery. So at the 1 hour mark I call and ask for status. I was told that the driver just left with my order. (I live less than 5 min from the location) so 20 min later still no delivery so I call back again. "Oh it'll be just a little longer. You order should be ready now." My response, "I thought the driver left with my order". She says " no that was someone else". At this point it is now 40 minutes past when I should have received my order, 1 hr and 20 minutes since I placed the order. I was then told that it would be faster if I just pick it up. So I did. When I get there, no apologies for the long wait or inconvenience. No offer of a discount. Or even a coupon. And the manager was standing there with the girls when I picked up. Terrible service. More staff and better training is desperately needed. And a new manager probably...
Read moreThis restaurant is old, is not clean, outdated and warn decor and seats, service is okay, but food is not that tasty except for the bread. There are far better Italian Restaurants to choose from. I go here only when I am with someone else and this is their choice. Otherwise I avoid all Di Cicco's because they all have the same menu even though some have more updated decor and are cleaner than the Sanger location. Bread is always great at all of them. I got food poisoning from the Sanger location many years ago from their sausage pizza and had to be treated in the emergency room at a local hospital. Not a great experience but I have eaten there since and not got sick. The menu needs updated, recipes changed for a tastier flavor, and a major cleaning and...
Read moreWe stopped in at Italian food and had another great experience! The food was delicious, hot, and fresh, and the service was just as wonderful. It wasn’t too busy inside, so we were seated right away in a cozy booth. The bread came out soft and fresh, and our server was super friendly and attentive.
We ordered pastas, and they were absolutely fabulous. I also had the salad with the house vinaigrette-style dressing it’s slightly sour and refreshing, and easily my favorite part of the meal. We enjoyed everything so much that I even brought some food home for my kids.
We eat at Di Cicco’s often, and every time it’s consistently fabulous. This time I just had to leave a review because they truly deserve the...
