In my quest for the perfect veggie sandwich I recently stopped by Panino's. I'm not vegetarian but I love a good veggie sammich. They have a pretty good selection of vegetarian offerings, so I went with the Mixed Veggie Sandwich- Marinated sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, greens, and a few other tasty toppings. It wasn't the absolute best veggie sandwich I've had, but it was pretty good. All fresh, quality ingredients. The staff was friendly, and my food was ready in minutes. They are on the pricey side for a sandwich, but really about average for an upscale deli. I'll be back.

My favorite is the curried chicken salad on focaccia. It tastes the same as it did when I used to work at the local college in the aughts. During my holiday, I knew I had to make sure to get here. However, my only gripe has nothing to do with the restaurant but how it’s impossible to walk safely to this location. Personally it feels like (and I felt this way when I lived in the area) it’s an intentional effort to keep “certain types” of people out. It’s ironic because Panino is not a fancy place yet makes great sandwiches.

The sandwiches are delicious and a quick way to fill you up. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well. We ordered: Greek Salad Sandwich, Mixed Vegetables Sandwich, Black Forest Ham & Swiss Sandwich, The Italian Combo Sandwich.

Loved the half and half offer. I chose half a sandwich and half a salad. Plenty of food for lunch with enough for leftovers for dinner. Went another time and just got a sandwich. Also plenty of food. I liked the focaccia bread though they have other great options. (not additive filled breads) kettle chips and healthy drinks are sold too. All very reasonably priced. Average $12. Staff are cheerful and helpful. There are tables if you want to eat there. There's also seating (I think) in the complex on the other side of the building. Speaking of that, it's a nice little shopping complex with upscale shops and a Vons market. Also convenient right next to the freeway but it doesn't...

I can't give 5 stars! Well this is first time I went there. I tried to TUNA salad salad. Ugh. tasted... bored and nothing but lots of water there YUCK! Taste like water more. They SHOULD take water out first before mix them. Do not mix with water and mayo. Never! Uhmmm Greens salad with dressing tasted good. Sorry, I gave 3 stars. Next time, I will bring the receipt and show it to manager! When I will visit here again from Las Vegas (I was born and raised in So Calif). Well I don't care the receipt is old. I will explain them. Next time, I'll go to Rusty's...
