Tan Cha in Santa Clara is a must-visit for boba enthusiasts. While the unassuming exterior might not grab your attention, the interior is cozy and inviting, perfect for a quick break or a leisurely chat with friends. The service was efficient, and the drink preparation was swift. I opted for the cocoa special with tiramisu foam and yogurt popping boba. The drink was simply divine. The sweetness of the cocoa was perfectly balanced by the subtle tartness of the yogurt boba. The tiramisu foam added a luxurious touch, elevating the drink to new heights. The innovative cup design was a clever touch, allowing for easy mixing and sipping. If you're in the Santa Clara area, be sure to give Tan Cha a try. You won't be disappointed!

I love a good quality oolong milk tea and this boba shop delivers just that! I have been to several Tan-Cha locations and this seems to be the one I frequent the most. Always lots of parking, lots of seating inside, AND they are open pretty late! Most of their drinks are $6+ though. My drink recommendations: + Hami Milkshake + Brulee Thai Tea with Boba + Grapefruit Slush + Matcha Slush + Brulee Roasted Oolong Milk Tea + Anything with cheese foam!!! KEEP IN MIND: Their most recent health score was 52 out of 100... That is possibly the lowest I have ever seen from a boba shop! I would give them 5/5 stars if I didn't know they had so many health violations...

I come here often whenever I go to Central Park Library to study, and sometimes I prefer to study here instead because of how cold and chill it is. They have free WiFi and comfortable seats, and you can stay and study here for as long as you want. Sometimes it gets crowded due to the people coming in and out but it’s a drink shop, not a study shop so it’s expected. Employees are great too. Strawberry Green Tea: Mid, not bad but it could be sweeter, just not my taste Brown Sugar Boba Latte: Great, it’s not too sweet (which I usually dig for) but still really good Tiramisu Milk Tea: Good, the tiramisu is salty for some reason…? The milk tea is good though

Very chic store. Menu had lots of offerings without being confusing. I tried the high mountain green tea with cheese foam and the matcha without foam. The teas were good quality with a good sweetness level (I ordered less sweet). The cheese foam was very yummy, but quite thick. Since I was at home I ended up grabbing a spoon to scoop little bites, which worked because their neat lid swiveled to give a generous opening. In hindsight, maybe I should have taken one of their little spoons at the pickup counter. Since I was grabbing other items in the plaza I asked for a bag, and it was a very nice quality paper bag. These little high end touches do add to the overall high quality feeling...

Let me elaborate, first off I asked seconds after placing my order if they could accommodate an Oatmilk substitute, they said sorry I’ll have to pay again, so then I’m about to order the same thing without cow tiddy milk and they said they don’t have non- dairy substitutes…it’s 2024 - what is this? So I left, flustered they couldn’t just remake my drink (costs pennies to the dollar, mistakes happen but w/e)

I ended up buying lactase next door at the CVS and drank the order placed anyway. A taro milk tea with taro and lychee chucks…it was literally just two percent milk with all the chunks stuck to the bottom, drink itself had 0 flavour. I gotta say it was the worst taro drink...
