I had a very bad experience when I tried to pick up my order at the store. It was around 7 PM that day. When I arrived at the store and tried to pick up my order, I attempted multiple times to pull the door, but it was locked. I waved my hand to get the attention of a staff member inside the store. When I asked, "Is the store closed?" the staff member responded, "Yes." Looking through the window at the pickup counter, I noticed there was no food. This led me to believe the store was closed, and I couldnât pick up my order, so I left.
Fifty minutes later, one of the store staff called me to say my order was ready and asked when I wanted to pick it up. I explained what had happened and expressed that I didnât want to pick up the order anymore because I couldnât earlier, and I didnât want to drive another 20 minutes to the store. However, the staff insisted that the door wasnât locked at that time and claimed it was difficult to open due to strong wind.
I then mentioned that another staff member had told me the store was closed. The caller dismissed this by saying the other staff member didnât speak Mandarin, so they wouldnât have understood me. Of course, I knew the staff member didnât speak Mandarin, but I had communicated with them in English.
At this point, I didnât want to argue anymore because the staff member on the phone kept denying my experience. First, they wouldnât admit that the door was locked and insisted it was due to the wind. How could the door be so hard to open just because of wind? A person can usually tell the difference between a locked door and one thatâs difficult to open. Second, they denied that I had communicated with the other staff member, using the excuse that the staff didnât understand Mandarin. That was irrelevant because I had spoken to them in English.
This experience left me feeling very frustrated. The staff member who called me seemed more concerned about avoiding a financial loss than understanding what had happened. They didnât try to address how the store had given the wrong impression that it was closed, which led to my inability to pick up my order.
As a result, Iâve decided not to go to Orange Square anymore. I liked the food and the environment, but if the staff had been willing to listen and accept my explanation, I would have continued to support the store. Unfortunately, thatâs no longer the case.
My suggestion to the store is this: Take the time to understand the challenges your customers face, and donât be quick to dismiss...

The inside is very spacious with table and booth seating. Never having ordered a Boba before, I asked if they had decaf the milk tea Boba? The lady said yes and asked how much sugar I wanted? So she recommended getting what most people get, I said sure. â The milk tea Boba was excellentâ I ordered the Five spice fried chicken cutlet square, the basil S&P popcorn chicken, and the golden egg yolk Taro ball. They gave me enough food to feed any army of hungry Yelpers, Iâm talking and eight course meal âno jokeâ The five spice fried chicken came in a really nicely packaged box, the chicken had lots of flavor and not greasy, The five spice chicken also came with an array of vegetables and rice in little squares compartments âflavor townâ The Basil S & P popcorn chicken: âBIG container of popcorn chicken â did not really see any basil in there though, flavor was good. Especially when dipped in sweet chili sauce. I got to say my favorite part of the whole meal was the Golden egg yolk Taro balls. The only way I can describe them is a flavor explosion in my mouth, they left me satisfied and wanting more all at the same time. If youâve never had themâŚ. You have no idea what...

There are 8 groups of people ordered behind me, but they all get food before mine. At that time I already waited about 25min and nobody cares why I am still waiting, until I asked them my order. They completely forgot my order. After I asked them, and they show the order to the back to cook my order. I wait another 10 mins and finally received it. But they gave the wrong item. I ordered sweet potatoes fries but they gave me a regular fried. It takes me 35 mins to wait just 2 simple appetizer and nobody say sorry for waiting too long. What a bad service! They didnât track the order has been finished or not, until you ask them. This is not the first time I had this kind of experience. Previously i ordered a fruit tea and found a hair inside the drink. Donât eat in this place!!! Go to O2 valley which has better tastes, better services and...
