I had a very bad experience when I tried to pick up my order at the store. It was around 7 PM that day. When I arrived at the store and tried to pick up my order, I attempted multiple times to pull the door, but it was locked. I waved my hand to get the attention of a staff member inside the store. When I asked, "Is the store closed?" the staff member responded, "Yes." Looking through the window at the pickup counter, I noticed there was no food. This led me to believe the store was closed, and I couldn’t pick up my order, so I left.
Fifty minutes later, one of the store staff called me to say my order was ready and asked when I wanted to pick it up. I explained what had happened and expressed that I didn’t want to pick up the order anymore because I couldn’t earlier, and I didn’t want to drive another 20 minutes to the store. However, the staff insisted that the door wasn’t locked at that time and claimed it was difficult to open due to strong wind.
I then mentioned that another staff member had told me the store was closed. The caller dismissed this by saying the other staff member didn’t speak Mandarin, so they wouldn’t have understood me. Of course, I knew the staff member didn’t speak Mandarin, but I had communicated with them in English.
At this point, I didn’t want to argue anymore because the staff member on the phone kept denying my experience. First, they wouldn’t admit that the door was locked and insisted it was due to the wind. How could the door be so hard to open just because of wind? A person can usually tell the difference between a locked door and one that’s difficult to open. Second, they denied that I had communicated with the other staff member, using the excuse that the staff didn’t understand Mandarin. That was irrelevant because I had spoken to them in English.
This experience left me feeling very frustrated. The staff member who called me seemed more concerned about avoiding a financial loss than understanding what had happened. They didn’t try to address how the store had given the wrong impression that it was closed, which led to my inability to pick up my order.
As a result, I’ve decided not to go to Orange Square anymore. I liked the food and the environment, but if the staff had been willing to listen and accept my explanation, I would have continued to support the store. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case.
My suggestion to the store is this: Take the time to understand the challenges your customers face, and don’t be quick to dismiss...
Read moreOrange Square is easy to find they are located on the corner of Homestead and Las Palmas. “ you can’t Mr. sign and there’s plenty of parking in the parking lot. Especially when dipped in sweet chili sauce. I got to say my favorite part of the whole meal was the Golden egg yolk Taro balls. The only way I can describe them is a flavor explosion in my mouth, they left me satisfied and wanting more all at the same time. If you’ve never had them…. You have no idea what...

There are 8 groups of people ordered behind me, but they all get food before mine. At that time I already waited about 25min and nobody cares why I am still waiting, until I asked them my order. They completely forgot my order. After I asked them, and they show the order to the back to cook my order. I wait another 10 mins and finally received it. But they gave the wrong item. I ordered sweet potatoes fries but they gave me a regular fried. It takes me 35 mins to wait just 2 simple appetizer and nobody say sorry for waiting too long. What a bad service! They didn’t track the order has been finished or not, until you ask them. This is not the first time I had this kind of experience. Previously i ordered a fruit tea and found a hair inside the drink. Don’t eat in this place!!! Go to O2 valley which has better tastes, better services and...
