You dont find good salvi food around too often. But as soon as I made my order the lady in the back was balling up masa and working the magic. I got myself one of every popusa they had some rice and beans, with fried bananas plus tamales you know if they have them you gotta the them and a coffee and I dipped. They didn't look busy and there was no one there but people had their food ready and were coming in and out. This place was lokey popn. I aint Salvi but I grew up with them and this takes me back to many diners at their homes. Theirs a cheese that they specifically make with a Salvi style caper that makes their dishes truly authentic and these guys had it. I believe good food tastes better the next day unfortunately this food didn't make it past the hour. I was burning myself trying to eat a tamal and coffee while on my way home.
