I love healthy salads and have purchased salad bowls in this location multiple times. Unfortunately during last month they sold me a salad with hard boiled eggs which were rotten, did not smell right and tasted terrible. Today I came and the bin with kale had so many yellow spoiled leaves. Romaine was wilted on the bottom of the bin and I asked the gentleman to start a new bin as obviously Romain leaves were very wilted some brown and very little left on the bottom of the bin. He got a new bin and dumped all the bad brown leaves from the previous one to the new bin. I tried to ask him not to put bad leaves and he just said - “we have to”. When I came back and said that the eggs were bad and asked when these eggs were boiled the person answered “it does not matter when they were made, just the expiration. The eggs are stored at room temperature with some ice underneath that commonly melts. Probably due to the high egg prices the store changed the policy and now sells eggs for many many days. Sad that this healthy option is lowering food quality standards.

I complained and showed the plate to Miguel - who I later found out was the Manager Wow! And explained that the portions were very small for the $12 I paid and asked for a refund. He told me to "File a complaint" through the app. He was rude had an attitude and when I turned around to leave he mockingly and sarcastically told me to have a good night and to take care while the other two workers in the kitchen laughed. Will never be coming here again p.s. other reviews on here also have complaints about small portions at this location...so it's not only me..

Unfortunately this review is because you can't call the store directly to speak to a manager. Please please, tamper proof your bags so that customers can feel sure it was not contaminated during delivery.

Unfortunately this review is because you can't call the store directly to speak to a manager. I've ordered from here via Uber eats several times and the last 3 times my food came without the proper tamper proof sealing on the bag (staples/tape, etc). And each time my food has arrived either the lid is off the meal or the bag is covered in dressing. Please please, tamper proof your bags so that customers can feel sure it was not contaminated during delivery.

I witnessed a concerning incident today at the Sweet Greens located on Montana Avenue. During my visit to purchase a salad, I observed a delivery person being treated in an exceptionally disrespectful and unprofessional manner by one of the staff members an ( African American ).

The delivery person entered the restaurant and inquired about the status of an order. The staff member, responded dismissively, stating, " NO, I do not know." When the delivery person asked if he could check on the order's status, the response was, "No, I will not.

Confused by this rude behavior, the delivery person questioned why he was being treated this way. As the exchange escalated, the staff member ultimately refused to process the order, claiming that the delivery person's perceived rudeness was the reason. From what i saw and witnesses the delivery person was not rude at all.

When the delivery person asked to speak to the manager, the staff member declared himself to be the manager and began yelling at the delivery person. Despite the delivery person's protests and attempts to clarify, the so-called manager continued to refuse service, stating with a smirk that he didn't care about any reports the delivery person might make.

The employee not only refused but also told the delivery person to "get t... f... out" in front of me. Both the delivery person and I were shocked by this behavior. The delivery person, stating he would report the incident, seemed to provoke the employee further, who then aggressively lunged at him. I was terrified by the potential for violence.

As seen in the attached photos, another employee, a Mexican man, intervened to restrain the aggressive employee. The delivery person attempted to document the incident with a photo, prompting another aggressive reaction from the employee. For my safety and peace of mind, I left the store immediately.

This incident is deeply troubling, particularly because delivery personnel often work long hours for minimal pay. To treat them with such blatant disrespect is unacceptable. As a business owner, I find this behavior abusive and demeaning, reflecting poorly on Sweet Greens as an establishment.

I left without placing my order and will not be returning to this location. Such conduct from staff members, especially those in managerial positions, is indefensible and should be addressed promptly by the company. Unfortunately if something goes wrong with your order, no one in customer service seems to care. You can’t speak with someone about it. You can text, which is fine, but they (whoever that may be) will give you some pre-written response that doesn’t address your concerns. For instance, press one if there were missing ingredients in your order. I pressed 1, the response is something like, we’re sorry you weren’t happy, please check our app for a small discount on your next order. I ordered an Italian chopped salad . It was missing one of the main ingredients, salami. The salad was mostly kale, a couple of grape tomatoes and about a tablespoon of garbanzo beans with Italian dressing. Sweet greens corporate seems to have automated everything and they obviously don’t care how their customers feel or whether they got what they paid for. The experience is beyond frustrating when something goes wrong. Fortunately I went back to the restaurant in person and the employee was very nice about it and tried to help even though their hands are somewhat tied and there’s little that they can really do. Still, they were more helpful than texting with a computer system. However, I had to walk all the way back there at night to get it kind of resolved. I was tired and still hungry at the end. But at least the person behind the counter was nice about it . I just don’t have much faith in this company. Not sure that I will...

I usually go to the Brentwood sweetgreen and the experience is wayyyyy better. Every time I come into this one they don’t mix it at all, they’re rude, ask you to tip, and the customers that are in here are snobbish and that’s coming from someone that ask what oil they cook the food in. It could be the morning or two hours before they close and consistently they have been really dropped the ball every-time. They barely even say hello when you walk in I have to speak up and even when I do twice I've had employees straight up ignore me! Tonight I was really just looking forward to a healthy meal for the end of the day on the way home and they skimped me on my portioning and 10 minutes into me sitting down to eat I had to get up and ask for the ripple fries I ordered that they explained would be done in 3 minutes and were clearly in a rush to close up even though I just ordered and TIPPED. If you've worked in the service industry when you were younger you can kind of empathize with one bad day but it EVERY EMPLOYEE every time I've been in this sweetgreen. The management is nowhere to be found each time and the consistent poor service and food quality from a company that has good intentions but definitely needs to reassess their customer service...
