I am so excited and blessed to have a gluten free bakery back in this space on Montana. I tried modern bread and bagel last Saturday and already had to go back for more goodies. For non celiac people, remember that it is easy to take being able to eat normal bread products for granted. When us celiacs have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful bread product that is as close to the real thing as possible, it’s truly a moment to be cherished.
The bagels at modern bread and bagel and hands down the best gluten free bagels u have ever had. They are so flavorful and the closest thing I have experienced next to the gluten containing counterpart. My partner barely could tell the difference. The shroom sandwich is addicting. I love the mushroom patty so much. I like to add a nice vegan cream cheese and need to eat it once a week. I also adore their donuts. From the glazed strawberry and chocolate to the Boston cream pie, all of the donuts are super fluffy and delicious. I cannot wait to come back and continue bringing friends. Thank you for giving the celiac community the opportunity to...
Read moreI was in heaven walking into a fully gluten free bakery and being able to choose from everything! I'm pregnant and I've been having cravings for croissants and pastries so I had to come up here and suck up on a few treats! Shared the cinnamon roll with my friend and it was so good! Also tried a croissant which was a great gluten free alternative with a buttery taste! Wish I had gotten another one to bring home because I think it would be even better warmed up! Got a matcha latte to drink and it was great! The customer service was wonderful! There's a quaint out door area with seating next to the building to indulge in these baked goods! Highly recommend for fellow gluten free diets! My friend who isn't gluten free still really enjoyed...
Read moreI had no idea this place was gluten free. I bought a loaf of bread and when I tried it at home I was so confused by the taste. I came to the reviews to see if anyone else experienced this and that’s where I learned it’s a gluten free bakery!
The space was beautiful but for anyone coming here their first time it would be great to know it’s gluten free. I asked the staff about the bread and this was the perfect opportunity to share that information. Slightly bummed I spent $12 on a small loaf of bread that I sadly threw away. It truly didn’t taste good :/
The pastries looked delicious though and it seems most of the positive reviews are based on those. If I come back it’ll definitely be to try the...
