Malibu Discovery — Attraction in Santa Monica

My partner booked us the wine and sightseeing tour as an anniversary surprise. We got to experience this tour with two other lovely women. The first stop we made had ok wine… I grew up in Europe and could tell this wasn’t really the good wine we’ve received. Also our tour guide Tom made this weird remark about us drinking way “too fast”. He showed us a beach close buy and called me “beautiful and exotic” in front my boyfriend and asked where my “genes” are from. The restaurant we stopped at was also ok… the two women didn’t even want to finish their meals and the pasta I got was the most bland dish I’ve ever had… no butter, no oils, not even any salt. For the sight seeing part, it was basically just us sitting in a car driving up the mountains and Tom talking non stop and getting a bit salty when my partner tried saying something. The last stop was also not very exciting… Tom was bragging the whole ride about wine made in Malibu, and the little shot glasses we’ve received weren’t even from the region. I did The Getty Villa, Wine Tasting & Lunch tour in 2021 and we must have had a guide that was filling in for the day or something as it did not live up to other people's positive reviews - He kept trying to tell us that wine tasting was not included and was trying to cut the day short. It was a very uncomfortable experience overall as we had to really push back and basically plead him to take us to the wine tasting stop. Contacted the owner about this but never heard anything back. The Getty Villa is FREE ENTRY and the 'winery' is only a short drive away so you could easily take yourself to both and...

I was amazed by ken and his services! My bf and I did the Malibu discovery with brunch. It was 11/10. First off this was a very private experience. Ken was our driver/tour guide. Ken was prepared with everything we would need and was extremely kind and charming! He is extremely knowledgeable. Our tour was full of Malibu sightseeing that we would have never have found alone. Malibu is a beautiful piece of land and I’m glad we had someone to help us appreciate it.This was an all inclusive brunch, two wine tasting, and scenic tour. It was worth the money and time!...
