We've order to go food here several times and eaten in once. The food is always good but the service leaves more to be desired. When we ate in the service was slow and it seemed as though we'd been forgotten.
When we've ordered out, the service is again the problem. We always discover something missing from the order. We hadn't been in a while but decided we'd give it another shot tonight since our favorite place was closed.
When we arrived, we walked up to pickup the order and they couldn't find it in the system at all. It's a good thing I had the email receipt otherwise I'm not sure what they would have done.
Once the host saw the receipt, she checked with the kitchen and luckily they had the order. Without checking, she asked if everything was there and a gentleman in the kitchen nodded. She handed the order over and we looked over it quickly before leaving. Well, I guess we should have learned our lesson because we got home and our side order of cactus salad was missing. Too bad the order wasn't being found in the system or I'd call for a refund.
In addition to that, my boyfriend found a shrimp shell in one of his tacos. Seems like this place could use a little more attention to detail. For the prices they charge, I expected a...

PROS: *Always delicious--consistently *Great array of 3 salsas with chips, complementary of course *Impeccable service *Patio or take-out during Covid *Dine-in, patio or take-out otherwise *Cloth napkins add a surprising level of elegance *Great for date night, family night, girls night, or beer out with the guys *Full bar, excellent drinks
CONS: *Meat was inferior on my last visit. I think they switched suppliers to save money during covid or something. Perhaps a temporary issue, but both proteins on our plates were subpar. The chicken in my fajitas was tendony, curly, and gross. The beef in my date's enchiladas (he's from Texas & knows beef) was Grade C at best, and VERY dry.
You can do everything right as a restaurant... flavor, service, ambiance, drinks, salsa, location, etc... but if you can't nail a protein, you lose me. It's obvious the issue was QUALITY OF SUPPLY more than prep.
Will give it another shot in a couple months & update review if meat quality improves. (I let mgmt know as nicely & directly as I could, considering covid variable they're facing...
Read moreHorrible customer service. The young girls that work mainly upfront are able to take an order very easily . However if you made a phone order or online order and you walk in, they’re like deer in headlights. Looking around as if they didn’t know they were at work and had customers to serve. I make an online order that is suppose to be ready for pick up at 12:15 pm. Get a call from the establishment at 12:20 saying they’re out of what I ordered. I say “ok can we just cancel and refund ? “ the girl says “ummmmm not exactly “ like excuse me . Where is the manager so he or she can help you?” She replies “well my manager usually is in at 12:00” I reply with “it’s 12:30 so who is in charge of this establishment?” She replies” he’s not in right now all I can do is ask for your information and see if it’s possible once he gets in” with an attitude night I add. Like I’m sorry you clearly don’t know how to do your job and only got it bc you're bilingual. It’s a beautiful skill and very useful however if you don’t know basic customer service get a new job. And eddy ate yourself! Do not eat here . There’s another chain in Santa Rosa off college . Don’t even waste your time, money, or energy. I have this issue...
