Louie's Fine Foods — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

I've been to this place twice of late. Each time, the service was average, with the waitresses being friendly but not having the best communication with the kitchen. Our waitress had to go back several times to ask questions, because she didn't know the daily specials or what was in certain dishes.

The food, however, on both visits was disappointing. The first time, my mother and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken portions were noticeably different in size on each of our dishes, hers being much larger, and the spaghetti was watered-down and lacked flavor. I should also mention that the portions seemed small for a $20 dish. The second time, I got the Chicken Alfredo, and much like the spaghetti from the first plate, it tasted watered-down and without much flavor. Each plate required a lot of added salt, just to enjoy the food.

Considering how pricey the dishes are, with most being somewhere with the $15-20 range, the food should be much better in quality and portion than what was given. For that reason, I don't know if I would recommend this...

Do not eat here if you are looking for good service. The cook did not put bacon on my bacon burger. Also gave me french toast instead of what I payed for, a waffle. I went inside to let them know and and ask for what I payed for. The woman apologized but told me that the cook is working with a hangover. Not only is that unprofessional but when I asked for what I payed for, the cook was complaining loud enough for me to hear because I asked for what I payed for and waited for what I ordered. After I had left the resteraunt, the man was still complaining pretty loudly and glaring out the screen door at my girlfriend who was in the car. Waiting to watch me leave. When I called about the poor service, all I recieved was I'm sorry with an insincere, and sarcastic tone. With that they may not take complaints seriously. I was offered a discount for the next time I order however it is not worth giving my business. Do not eat here if you are looking for...

Consuela is sweet and genuine! She accommodated our request to eat family style with a wonderful attitude. I miscommunicated my order and she changed it at no extra charge after it was already made. She made us feel comfortable. The waffle with strawberries was the best to me and I didnt quite care for the overly salty croissant breakfast sandwich but my teenage boy said it was his favorite. Unfortunately the home fries were undercooked the point of unedibility. Bleck! But...the cook did make a beautiful fried egg. Good job sir. Overall our experience was good. The French toast and pancakes were nothing I would order again. If I had the opportunity I would tell the cook to stop over mixing the batter and cook the French toast in the oven for a couple minutes before serving but it's cool. I'm super picky about pancakes and French toast. I will be back for that perfect strawberry waffle...
