The McDonald's at I-65 and Hwy 43 in Satsuma has got to be, better yet, is the WORST fast food joint I have EVER been to... but not to be outdone by the poorest service, attitude, and ability to take, prepare, and fill an accurate food order. Yeah, I am sure I sound hateful but they chose their profession and are all.in a position to serve the public; if you're going to do something, give it your all! Arrival... the doors were locked at 7:15pm on a Tuesday night with a split line overflowing into Hwy 43 and the neighboring Chevron Filling Station...21 minute wait...(a few nights ago the dining area was open, saw from Waffle House next door) Ordering....the lady on the mic was EXTREMELY RUDE, IMPATIENT, and HUFFED/SIGHED LOUD ENOUGH that it was impossible for her to hear our attempt to order multiple times...(which is why it was WRONG), and she had no clue what items came on a Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwhich, and there were no Ice Cream options available??? What gives?! The first window (paying)..I believe if she (the huffing dragon) had rolled her eyes any harder they would have rolled out the drive thru and ran over by a passing vehicle.... Pick up window...receiving the order wasn't bad except for the order being wrong and no one coming to the door for me to get it corrected nor answering the phone... We ate at the food, as some was warm and the rest, not so warm. Fries were cold and both mine and my daughters burgers were not very tasteful and NO KETCHUP ugh) My other two little ones both enjoyed their Nuggetts and Apple Slices tho, A+ there! Start to finish, horrible experience and me and my family will never go back again!
Hopefully the owners will read the reviews for this location and intervene with the actions of their staff as there are quite a few unhappy customers as far as I can see and if I were a business owner of any sorts, I would strive for customer satisfaction...here a few guest pointers, see below: Hire a managing team who cares and properly train them...(when is the last time you visited a Chick Fil A and received poor service and inaccurate orders) it is very rare because they invest in their team! Accountability has to be part of your plan...yes, poor attitude reflects leadership but if you allow it, it remains the same and poor attitudes are a wreaking disease! One bad apple WILL spoil the bunch... The person on the mic has got two ears and one mouth for a reason...listen twice as much as you talk..give the individual time to order and let you know what they would like. Hard to hear when you're over talking them asking if that is all; you are there to serve the public, be patient and courteous...I will let you know when I am finished (poor training) What happened to service with a smile? Very easily to do and most of the time, you will make a person's day! Be there for the customer. Strive to make every experience a great one...yes, I know it is simply McDonald's but not everyone can afford a fancy or extravagant restaurant experience and the local McDonald's might be their monthly night out. Make them feel special!
Hope this is helpful and have a great night! Please excuse punctuation and spelling mishaps, def not an...
Read moreWORST McDonald’s EVER! I will never visit this location again. To begin with, I am not a McDonald’s food fan. Convenience sometimes wins over better food. In this instance, that was the case. While we were waiting at the drive thru speaker, it took two minutes to even take our order. I paid. Then I proceeded to the first pick up window. It was at this point, I was asked to move to the second pickup window. At this point, I knew things would go downhill. I drove to the second window and waited 13 minutes exactly, I was timing the ordeal. Four cars proceeded to get their meals at the first pickup window. No one was in line anymore. I was the lone survivor. I backed up to the first pickup window. I was greeted by the manager with a look of “ what is the problem”. I responded with, “ why have four other people gotten their meal before us?” That question was placed to the side and I was asked simply” what was your order?” I replied,” two quarter pounders with cheese, no pickles, and one French fries.” And then I realized my mistake and I did not want spit in my food. So, I said just refund my money. The manager took my card and was gone another seven minutes. She said my charge was reversed. I am still waiting on the charge reversal. If the charge has not been reversed by Monday, it will be disputed. So, save your time and grief. Don’t go to this newly renovated junk hole. You Will be...
Read moreUpdate (10/25/18): Well, they got my order wrong, didn't receive what I paid for, had to go in to have them correct my order, another 10 minute wait. Some things don't change. It's been a year since I had been here, thought it might have changed. Also, the floors were dangerously slippery. They need to mop the soap up off of the floor, when your shoes are wet (rain), you could slip and fall quite easily.
(9/1/17) McDonalds has typically had pretty decent standards of quality for food and service. This particular McDonalds IS the exception. If you're thinking of stopping at exit 19 off of I-65 in Mobile, Just keep on driving, I know you can do better elsewhere. After waiting for about 5 minutes at the drive-through, and driving around the building once or twice to check to see if it was open, I ordered what appeared to be a delicious looking Club Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich meal from the menu. What I got was a ranch sauce sandwich. there was so much sauce that the chicken slipped out of the sandwich. I decided to just eat the fries... I'm glad that I didn't break a tooth on those cold, greasy rocks. I did not know that you could petrify potatoes. Contacted McDonalds online... No response yet. it's been...
