A MUST TRY GLAD I DID

So look I typed in places to eat near me, and this one came up 1st cause google goes off of ratings and being as tho they have a ultimate rating of 4.7 I decided to try them out. Extremely happy that I did. I saw the shrimps on google an went there to get that. I opened the door an was greeted with big smiles and open arms damn near wanted to give her a hug, thats hiw welcoming they ALL ARE. Which is much needed in today society. The owner mentioned something about seafood gumbo. I told her I never had it before. This woman insisted that I tried it so I said what the hell gave me a lil sample next thing I'm getting a 20oz for $17 great price. Istarted to leave than I saw that she had raw shrimps a 3lb bag for $19 I couldn't let that pass by All in all I loved everything about this establishment. I pray they strive an keep going strong. Small lil place but known very well. God bless!!!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place and are very glad we did! My husband ordered fried oysters, and I ordered the fried shrimp platter with 2 sides. The oysters were delicious. My shrimp was lightly fried with a subtle seasoning and was also very tasty. I got 2 sides, cole slaw and fries, and the fries are a little like wedges, and the cole slaw was really good! However, the fried shrimp advertised 2 sides, and we thought the sides were free. They're not. Its ok, though, because they were good. The hushpuppies are crispy outside and soft inside and can come with a cheese sauce for dipping. Both are very good, with a subtle kick. The folks who own this business are very nice, and we will definitely return.

This is my second visit to The Shrimp Lady and it will not be my last. I came this trip to try the burger. You may say a burger at a seafood restaurant in Satsuma, what are you thinking. But I was not disappointed. The Shrimp Lady is a small place that if you aren’t looking, you’ll drive right by it. But I promise, once you find it you’ll be back. This trip I had the Li’l Mike burger and baked beans. Both were awesome. I have to say the burger was the juiciest burger I think I have ever had at a restaurant and even though they call it the Li’l Mike, it is plenty and I’m afraid to see the Big Mike.
