Diamond Cabaret — Restaurant in Sauget

Beware! It’s highly likely your credit card will be fraudulently charged at this establishment. I was there on a recent Saturday night around 11:30 pm and wanted to use my debit card for a couple drinks. I ordered two beers and the bartender takes my card and says “we hold your card until you pay.” Ok cool. I go sit down at a stage, and about ten minutes later I get a text alert from my bank that says my card was run for $100. so I go back to bar and ask the bartender, what's up? He says “oh it's just a hold and you will be credited back after you close out.” Ok cool. I was there about two hours and at the end of my night I go the bar to get my tab. It's $35 bucks. I pay with the card and tip $20 cash. The next day I check my card and it was not only charged the $100 but also the $35 for drinks. I called up the the club and asked to speak to management and was told “you will get credited back, it sometimes takes a couple days.” It’s been over a month and I never received the $100 credit, and now my bank won’t reverse the charges. I guess $8 a beer and a 50% + tip wasn’t good enough. To make matters worse, the dance prices are outrageous. I asked about five dancers and they all quoted me different prices in the range of $60 to $100 for one dance. One of the girls told me it was because the club takes $10 from each dance. It’s strange there is not a set price and it’s not posted anywhere in the club, like on a plaque outside the private dance rooms. Lastly, there are too many African American dancers for my liking and minimal white girls. You will be fraudulently charged...

Zero if I could leave it..make sure to check your pockets before you leave. They had no business letting my husband in there as intoxicated he was! Mind you he is allowed to go wherever he wants, and it was a bachelor party weekend...He is only dealing with my rath because he had no business going anywhere in the state he was in in the 1st place. Easy Mark. Dumb decision. His debit card was stolen and used at various locations. The bank and local law enforcement have been notified. Kind of a dumb move with all the cameras everywhere nowadays...we have your metro ride, your stop at Hi-Pointe, and DGX...pretty much led us straight home to you. ;)

I have proof. Posted on yelp as well. Just warning people. Take cash they have a lot of complaints about gross overcharges and if course have a zero refund policy...There are a few with similar stories as my husband. I get it...He was probably the easiest guy to ever steal from. Saying he wasn't visibly intoxicated is a joke though, right? Ffs, he actually fell asleep, must be an exciting club,

There's also a member's review site for all things a little seedy that says a lot about what your girls will do for a little extra, I found interesting. I mean hey, gotta make a living and it's their bodies..I draw the line and flat out ripping...

I’ll start by giving diamonds a 2 star and here’s why. We came on a Saturday night around 8pm, Our group had 5 of us, two women and three guys. When we walked in we sat our group near the main stage on a good sized couch. There is a waitress that comes around and takes your order so that’s nice and their drinks are good! Now here’s the issue I had.. there was a group of dancers sitting together at two tables near the entrance maybe 6-7 total and NONE of them came to our group to even try and introduce themselves. Our group was there to spend money and have a good time and get to know some of the dancers but that didn’t happen… it got to the point I even went up to their table and told one of them that one of the girls in our group was interested in getting to know her/ get a dance and she said okay but never came to our area LOL!!! The girls in our group sat on the main stage and did have some fun interacting with the dancers but after the dance was over nobody really talked to us. The private dances are kind of expensive here compared to where I’m from at $60 a song.. not sure I could recommend this place based on the experience we had… drinks are good, club is nice but other then...
