Oz Nightclub — Restaurant in Sauget

It's use to be cool back in the day. It's unsafe there now. I went there August 14, 2016 and something happened in the club that I had no part of and I was the only one who got hurt. I don't know exactly what hit me, but all I know is I was pushed back and I get something hit my leg. I looked down and meat was budging out. My friend walked me to the front and the ambulance was called. While I was waiting at the front, one of the white security guards was telling my friend to take me outside and wait. I'm like really? So an officer came in and said to stay where I was at. I guess this officer is always at this club for when things happen. A black guy took pictures and said it was for records. So the black guy goes to the back and white guard was still trying to put me out the club and I asked if they had insurance to cover hospital bills and he said no we don't do that. I said well the black guard did you guys do. And he tells me, oh I'm about to fire him for lying to you. I'm like really? So the next day, I go to get a police report and they have none of this on file. Smh. The closest thing they had on file around that time was a drunk woman at the entrance being loud. Which was of course not me. That's alright. Because I'm at my lawyer's office...

The place was extremely packed on a Saturday night which was a good thing to me. It was $20 to get it which is kinda pricey. The FIRST thing you notice when you walk in is the HEAVY smoke fumes. Weed and cigarettes mixed with a chemical smell. It was so strong my nose and eyes started burning and watering instantly. That alone made me never want to return. Also, they have extremely bright flashing lights which can give you a headache after a while. At the bar, they have to charge your card $25 no matter how much your drink(s) are but they’ll give you change. I was scammed. I only got two shots of vodka and they charged my card $50 and only gave me $15 in change. At the time I was already pretty tipsy so I just stuffed the cash in my wallet without counting. So USE CASH. The bartenders are scamming people. There’s a dance floor in the middle and it’s surrounded with 2 different bars and tables. However, everyone was literally just standing around watching the next person. Even on the dance floor. It was only a few girls twerking but other than that nobody was dancing. Just watching. Overall, I would rather stay home or play bingo at an old folks home than spend...

So I came to St. Louis for a pageant for the weekend. And me and my sister and some friends decided to go to Oz. To be our first night there let me tell u it was horrible, a fight was about to break out and the bouncers broke it up and threw the group of girls on the floor. Then what pissed me off was I was recording the fight and how the men bouncers was man handling the group of girls and while I was doin that a bouncer came from behind me a snatched my phone and threw it clear across the room and told us to get out like I was involved in the fight which i wasn't. He didn't care if he broke my phone or not. I was standing on the sideline like everybody else. It's was people arguing in the Bathrooms(dirty). To be coming from out of town to come visit this night club for the first....Yea it was a mess foreal....I did not have a good experience and I will not be coming back or recommend any of my family or friends. Also I think they over charge people at the door. And 1 last thing be careful when using your debit card because the bartender over charged my card...
