This restaurant is typically delicious and my favorite breakfast spot!! My family and I went there on 1/27/19 @ approximately 1:00pm, there were 11 of us and every single person ordered a meal. My niece ordered the steak and eggs, when it came she asked our waitress for another plate; her hashbrowns and eggs on one plate and toast and steak were on another, but being like her auntie she doesn't like her food touching, she simply wanted a plate to put her toast on so her rare steak wasn't bleeding on it. When the waitress came back and handed her the plate she said "that will be $2 extra just so you know" my niece said "I have to pay you $2 just to have my toast on something different then my bloody steak plate??" (It was clear we weren't splitting plates as we all ordered our own meal or the $2 would have been understandable) The waitress in a rude tone says "yup, you sure do. That's the rules and you already have two plates"... after that my husband asked for hot sauce which 10 minutes later I had to go up And ask a different waitress for it because she never brought it and when she heard me ask another waitress for it she said "yup, didn't get to it yet because I'm busy splitting the bill" as if that's more important then making sure your customers have everything they need to eat their meal... waters, pops and coffees were never refilled, etc .... I have never had such a rude waitress in my entire life and to be that way to a table off 11.... she's lucky that we are caring people and understand that waitresses live off tips because she didn't deserve what we all gave her. We will be back, but will also refuse to sit in her section.... she said her name was Emma, but she didn't have a name tag so there is no...
Read moreWhat a great place to eat!! Fast, friendly service, and the food...over the top tasty!! We happen to be staying in a cabin over the 4th of July this year in Paradise, Michigan; and went further into White Fish Point, when we found this little gem through Google search. Thinking about not wanting to cook at our cabin in 85°F temps, we ordered this Extra Hungry Man breakfast. It came with everything...literally several plates each full of food!! When it came, I requested several to go boxes; that's when we found out we were eating their "challenge". It wasn't listed as such, (that we noticed), and were told they don't do take homes of this meal because it's a challenge. After a bit of humor...the entire place was now in "the know", they were all as amazed as we were to see a full table of food, and it would go to waste if they didn't let us take home leftovers....i don't know how anyone could eat that much honestly., and it was only $15.00 per meal...super cheap!! We want to thank everyone there for the great food, good laughs, clean restrooms, clean establishment, and the makers of to go boxes. I highly recommend checking this place out....see if you're up to...
Read moreI will say this had some of the best country cooking I've ever seen. Unfortunately one of the older waitresses and a couple of the people in the restaurant gave you the feeling of Deliverance. They were very rude and opinionated we were there for a conference and they made it a point to stare at us and talk as loud as they could about us so we can be heard the manager did nothing about it. I love their cooking but I warn anybody unless you look like a redneck some of the waitresses may not be friendly to you. If they had no idea was it was at least three veterans sitting at a table two people holding phds, the three public safety workers. Judging a book by the cover is a dangerous thing even during a paranormal convention. Don't know if we eat there or not when we come back the treatment we got was pretty bad. Had the waitress been friendly and by the way our waitresses fantastic. We'd be there to eat every convention without fail cuz we...
