China House Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Savannah

Should be zero stars!!!! This is the worst service I have ever had in my entire 41 years. The waitress we had never once checked on our table after placing our order and bringing our food out after 20-30 minutes of waiting. We had to flag her down to get extra napkins and still she didn't ask if we needed anything else. Continued to leave our dirty plates on the table instead of pre bussing when we were nice and stacked them at the end of the table for her to take. We sat and waited longer for the bill while she was behind the counter playing on her phone. When we flagged her down again, I told her that there was an issue with one of our meals and that NO ONE at our table could eat it. Also that we needed a to go box. She said , "um, okay". And left the table. Never brought us our box. When we went to pay she refused to take the item off of our ticket saying, " Maybe you shouldn't order something that your not gonna eat. You have to pay for it." I return said, " Maybe you should learn how to be more polite to your customers! And btw you service sucked!" The manager came out and asked what the problem was. I told her. She explained that the girl didn't have authorization to take it off our bill. I said, " Well she should have to you, her manager, the situation for you to have taken care of then." I wish there was something lower than a one star because it definitely was a below a one star experience when we got here. There was one car in the parking lot and no customers inside that should’ve been a clear sign that this was not a good place to go for lunch however we did go ahead and stick it out and tried the buffet here at China House. Several of the dishes were cold when they should’ve been hot. The rice was cold and hard not edible. The noodles were cold, but we’re not really lo mein noodles that was really spaghetti. The french fries were not done hard and cold in the middle. The egg drop soup had no flavor and it’s the very least all we wanted was a cup for our drink so we could at least take our drinks with us. We were told that they had no to go cups when they clearly did and told us that they would have to charge us three dollars a cup. We already had our drinks. We just wanted to pour our drinks in the cups, but they wouldn’t even do that. I ended up going to the car getting my drink cup for my car and filling it up with the drink I had in there because they would not give us to go cups Service was horrible atmosphere. We were the only people in there so there was no atmosphere and they were rude. They were rude, not accommodating. I will not come back to this place ever don’t waste your money go to Pizza shop Gambino’s El Pape something Subway...

My family was so excited when this place opened back up in Savannah, MO. We just left there very unsatisfied. The waitress brought out the wrong order & when asked about it, she said, “I don’t know, I think that’s the right thing.” So I asked her if she could take it back to the cook. She returned 15 minutes later with the real order & didn’t say anything. So I asked about the appetizer & she said she didn’t know. My family was done eating by the time I got my order, so I just said to give me a box. Then she brought out boxes, & the appetizer in a to go box. I then asked if we were getting charged for it, she said yes. So I said we didn’t want it. (It is supposed to be at the beginning of the meal). The poor girl was shaking so bad, but she also didn’t know anything about what was being served. Our food did not come at the same time & there was no communication. I wanted to eat with my family. As another issue, my two kids did not like the chicken lo mein or beef fried rice. It was bland. Husband liked the general tso’s. Will not...
