Lunch with 5 people. My plate never came. Taylor never check on us once. Never made eye contact. Came to leave checks, rudely said sorry and disapeared. Another server brought everyones checks back. Ill follow that with the fact that my coworkers and i frequent this place as its one of the only options in the area. Sometimes twice a week. She has always been terrible, never smiles, never checks on the table, always difficult getting her attention. We, as a group, have literally spent thousands at this restaurant with a consistent issue on service. Its almost a running joke at this point.
Update. Been a year. Same service, different day. Sit there by myself for 15 minutes without a single person offering to take my order. Mentioned it to the person bussing the table next to mine...her explanation was that she wasn't a server and that they were understaffed. Saw at least two people serving to half a restaurant of people. just not paying...
Read moreI ordered takeout from Kanpai 2 bcuz it was close to my hotel & I was starving & didn't want fast food.
The waiter greeted me upon arrival & I told him I wanted to place a to go order. He was polite & my order came out fast.
I ordered the chicken & shrimp combo with mushroom soup & salad. Was it worth $16? Not really, but I was hungry & tired. The shrimp tasted fresh & was cooked perfectly. The dish had more cabbage than any other veggie, even though it was supposed to be mixed veggies. The chicken was not bad but it was kind of dry. There was really no flavor to the dish, even though it was supposed to be teriyaki. The teriyaki tasted watered down. Thank goodness for the yum yum sauce! The mushroom soup was great! It had a wonderful flavor to it. The salad was lettuce. That's it. However, the ranch dressing was good & made the lettuce tasty.
The restaurant has a nice quaint vibe,...
Read moreMy husband and I ordered an appetizer platter and two meals. The salads came out first, and both my husband and I immediately said the dressing looked like dog vomit, although the taste wasn't horrible. My husband's mushroom soup was just some warm beef broth. Then the main dishes came out... apparently when you order "fried rice" they just squirt some brown sauce on some steamed rice and dump on a plate. My "yakisoba" was just hard bits of chicken with some old cabbage mixed into some noodles. My husband's curry was equally unimpressive. Just as we were hoping for our check, our appetizer plate came out. Appetizers weren't too bad, but by this point we weren't feeling too confident about seafood from this place. Had to stop someone to get them to take our check. Worst service and worst food I've ever had, simtaneously. Please don't go there. I promise you I...
