Nice, relaxed vibe. Unfortunately, the server must have taken that to the limit. Let me start with I've worked in this business and know how it's supposed to work. We were seated with only about 4-5 other parties already at tables and only one behind us...NOT BUSY, not sure why there was 6-8 min wait for seating. Also, not all dining areas were open. After, 45-50 min from ordering she said "you'll be eating in a couple minutes". (Cool! Sounds good.) But she obviously never checked on our order. [She should have been raging at the kitchen by then, "where's my cust's order?!"] After 70 min she asked "have you eaten yet?" (Mind you, She never brought out any food, and she didn't seem to know this.). We saw her confer with another server. That sever came over and said "there was a computer glich with the printer in the kitchen"(BS) and proceded to ask us "what did you order?" [what did the first server write down on her pad when we ordered?]. When we expressed some disappointment, she offered to get the mgr....why wasn't the Mgr in front of us already?!! We were not about to reorder and wait again...had to walk out. We will NOT be back tomorrow with my daughter and family when they arrive for the day.
BTW, aside from standing water in the worst possible spot on our RV site, the campground was good, store is good and the lazy river/pool is great. But there are too many other places to try to come back. So one and done. Sorry we realy wanted to put this on in...
Read moreWe have been here every time we stay at Creekfire. Every time it seems to get worse. The women working the bar and front made no eye contact when we came in, she complained that her order device wasn't working properly, then seemed to pawn off her tables to another waitress. And was quick to jump back behind the bar and simply shrug her shoulders and shake her head. Then proceeded to make drinks for The one table that she appeared to have. The menu has been slimmed back, which is probably good since it seems that most of the wait staff seems to have a hard time keeping up even when there are only a few tables. Other than the simple convenience of its location inside the RV Resort it is not worth it. I would highly recommend seeking out another...
Read moreShhhhhhhh. Let’s keep this place our secret! No wait on a Saturday night, even though it was steadily busy. Beautiful, super casual setting. (If you’re not staying at the RV resort, just enjoy driving past their big ass water park on the way to the back of the resort, where the restaurant is! 😂) Comfortable seating, semi outside. Don’t worry about the bugs- the fans are on it. Drinks were pretty strong. Seats were comfortable. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive the whole time. Not sure if they ever have live music, but this would be an ideal place for it. Limited menu, but a little something for everyone. The GATOR BITES. The FRENCH FRIES. IYKYK Chef’s Kiss, Y’all. All the food was fresh and great. Will be back. But let’s keep it...
