Mia's Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Sayreville

I placed an order with this restaurant through Grubhub and this is how they sent out my order. Completely loosely wrapped in aluminum foil, in a box. Who sends out food like this? Every other restaurant I’ve ordered from sends it in a bag and staples it shut so the customer knows it hasn’t been tampered with. A small calzone, half a cheesesteak and a cheesecake would have fit perfectly in a bag. There really is no excuse for this.

To the owner: I did not ask for a refund from Grubhub, when I contacted them to complain about how I received my food, they just gave it to me.

When I tell you the food was loosely wrapped, I really mean LOOSELY. I was able to see my food poking through the foil when I received it. If that’s the excuse you’re going with, you could have put the cheesecake in a separate bag and made sure the rest of food was...

I live in the general area and drive by here all the time and when it pops up in GrubHub, I always want to try it but are usually ordering another kind of cuisine. However, this evening we finally did try it...and the only thing we are upset about is that we didn't try this place much sooner! 😄 We ordered a plain pie with extra cheese...big hot! Quiet little spot with excellent food. When I try a new place, I like to see how well they do the simple things, so I ordered mozzarella sticks, and a large pie with mushrooms. My second visit I did take out. They do a great job and the delivery/serving time are more than acceptable.

I definitely plan on being a threepeat customer!
