No.1 Chinese — Restaurant in Sayreville

A not so good Chinese restaurant. First of all, every dish I tried here tasted like old food & artificial flavour.

Combo: Shrimp with lobster sauce on pork fried rice, came with egg drop soup. The only thing good about it was the shrimp, it was big and tasted ok. The lobster sauce was not my favourite, applied the whole taste of the dish. The fried rice was not made with traditional rice, they were big and had no tatse in it. They used frozen old pork pieces and you know how it would have tasted. The worst was the soup, the soup was definitely not made with natural ingredients. It was glue like and had a weird taste. You could cut the soup literally into pieces. Pls avoid it.

Chicken Nuggets: Just your regular grocery store frozen nuggets taken from the freezer, deep fried and served.

Steamed dumplings: Not sure when they were made but steamed after order. Thick outer shell and less stuffing inside and did not taste good.

Vegetable Loew mein: Lots of vegetables, which is good! But the sauce had strong unpleasant flavour to it.

RUN WORSE Chinese Spot !!! If I could have given 0 stars I would ! Placed a $60 Dollar order then gave $10 tip on top . I saw my food that I order on the lunch special was missing but an extra lunch special I didn’t order was in the bag I called to get my food corrected the owner or the man on the phone said I repeated the order 2 times and I said when you were picking up 3 calls while taking my order I said the food item I was missing now can you please send it he goes I’ll Charge you $10 .75 I said no you won’t you gave me the wrong food and I’m not paying for a replacement that you messed up I will give you back the food he then lost his mind He said YOU PEOPLE DO THIS I TOLD HIM WHAT DID YOU SAY AND HE STARTED CURSING PLEASE DONT SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT DOESNT RESPECT THE PERSON WHO IS PUTTING MONEY...

They did delivery at 9:45 when they close at 10 and I'm 10 minutes away, open at night for delivery when no other Chinese restaurants are, I am very thankful for that. 👌🏼 The guy on the phone sounded tired but worked with me and got my order perfect and delivered. Very good food too, the orange chicken was very flavorful and the pork fried rice was a tiny bit hard but better than any other restaurants in this area by far, we also got food late late at night too so that probably affected it. Overall I would give this restaurant a solid 9/10 and 5 stars. The customer service is good,I will be...
