Rustoni's Pizza — Restaurant in Sayreville

I ordered take out for the 1st time, the drunken grandma slice was recommended to me to try. I was told by the cashier that I would have to wait about twenty minutes since this slice would have to be made fresh. When I went back 20 mins later, another gentleman told me the same thing. I assume what happened was there was a slip in communication with the kitchen. As I contemplated a second choice, the gentleman (Butch) offered to deliver my order to me. Within about 30 mins, Butch himself hand delivered my entire order, hot and fresh. He also through in 2 extra slices and a beautiful slice of tiramisu. Every bite we had was better than the bite before, absolutely delicious!! Not only did the food win me over, the staff was warm and welcoming, and Butch handled a small miss communication with ease. I've already order delivery from Rostonis again, and will it be a customer for a very, very long time!! Thanks again...

I was at work and I drive all day and stumbled upon this golden nugget, the pizza is the truth, and the homemade sauce OMG!!!! I have had the pleasure to taste it on the pizza with chicken my taste buds whent out of control so I went back into the store and brought a couple of bottles of the sauce I wish they would get the sauce into stores so everyone can have this great experience I live 47 min away from them so I will take the drive to vist or maybe I they can deliver the sauce to me I'll pay the delivery fee for the sauce I can't wait to be back in the area to try the rest of the food if they can make a great sauce I'm all in and well worth the time. And I want to thank the young lady who observed my interest in the sauce on the pizza she was very informative on what it was and thanks for the suggested sell they have a winner on their team. Ordered a large pie for delivery. The website said it would take an hour as it was busy. An hour passed and I had not received it, so I called them. They said they were busy and it would go out with the next delivery person. 20 minutes later I got an email that it was going out. It arrived over 20 minutes after that. The delivery guy made a big show of pulling my pizza out of the insulated carrying case and handed me a straight up cold pizza. When I commented that it took an hour and 40 minutes to get my pizza he shrugged and said “We were busy”. I had to heat the pizza up in my own oven to make it edible and it was one of the worst pizzas I ever ate. Threw half of it away.
