((NEW OWNERS/MANAGEMENT)) Went there after shopping, my Grandma had been there before with -no- problems. This time we went, I had asked what came in the burrito, was snapped at, like I was wasting his time. I asked to not have lettuce or cilantro in it, he couldn't remember what I said, but luckily got it right. And when my Grandma ordered a kid's menu quesadilla order, I asked what was on it, to the reply of, "It's a KID'S quesadilla!" - Whatever that means, besides size of tortilla. The man asked me if I wanted any sauce, and I said your mildest one (as I had not been here before), and when I got home, I was coughing for a while after dabbing just the tip of my pinky in. Not funny, not nice. Their saving grace is the churros (Grandma brought some home from the last time she went), and this time, they were broken into pieces. PLUS!! Food is very, very bland. I will not be going back here. There's a place I went to in Addison that is much further away, for some to die for Authentic Mexican food in the future. This is not it. I regret not trying it under...
Read moreThis location used to be Poblano Peppers and now it is under a new owner and management. I ordered a Chicken Burrito. It was about $10 and the quality and quantity were both very good. Many places fill their burritos with rice like Chipotle (which I avoid) but here, they had put in adequate meat. The sauces were good too. I might not need to go all the way to Manny's anymore for Mexican! I have not tried the other items but I will definitely be back. We love Mexican so if everything checks out, this will be a go-to place. While you can eat-in, there is no "atmosphere" to speak of so it is better to take out.
Suggestion: Have different sizes for burritos. There is currently 1 size only and that is too big for me for lunch. I have to cut into portions and eat the rest later (which I don't like to do). If a smaller one was available, one would have more options to get what one wanted and...
Read moreI ordered 1-2 times under the previous management and didn’t like their food. About 3 week ago I saw that it was under new management and decided to give it another try. I was not disappointed their Alpastor was pretty good. I have continue to stop by weekly trying different items such as stake tacos and tortas and every single time the flavor has been excellent. Looking forward to continue to...
