Noodle & Sushi Delight Restaurant is a true hidden gem! You are greeted warmly the second you walk in the door by the owner Hannah. The restaurant was very clean, well organized. Very spacious and cozy seating is offered. Service was excellent and lunch was served quickly. Food is delicious and I’m looking forward to returning here for dinner and trying their noodle dishes! They were very busy with lunch service as well as carry outs but delivered fast and friendly service!
I tried the Japanese 2 roll sushi special which come with soup or salad. I chose the salad.
Lunch special salad - unique delicious fresh made mango dressing (sweet w/little spicy kick). Crisp greens, petite cucumber slices and grape tomatoes. Salad was chilled nicely.
Vegetable egg rolls were served hot, (best in the area!) crunchy, packed with bean sprouts and full of flavor. The plum sauce and hot mustard are made in-house!
Tuna avacado roll was very nice - tuna was very fresh and there was a generous portion of avacado in the roll!
Spicy Salmon roll had good flavor and crunchy cucumber inside. Sushi has more fish and less rice which made this a step above some other places!
The shaved ginger was shaped into a pretty rosebud on the plate. Both ginger and wasabi are made fresh in-house.
Carryout: The Kung Pao chicken lunch special had a lot of good quality chicken pieces. The sauce was very nice and went well with the fried rice!
Service is excellent here. The staff is very attentive to all your needs and is there to make sure you enjoy your meal. They have a full bar, outdoor seating and also had fun slots area in the back of the restaurant. There’s something for everyone at Noodle & Sushi Delight!
Thanks Hannah and staff for a delicious...
Read moreFood was either way to salty or not seasoned at all. Went here with my boyfriend and our son, the atmosphere was horrible, not friendly no hellos, dirty water cups, asked for napkins, lady proceeded to give us ONE single napkin, silverware just placed on their tables that didn’t look sanitized. When our food came, took literally 3 minutes - like how, boyfriends meal was so bad we asked can we switch it. Server said no that’s how it’s supposed to taste!! We said ok.. no problem, can you take it away we will still pay for it can we have something else, lady still said NO & would NOT take the bowl away. It smelled bad and it tasted bad. All of our food was like room temp, you know like when you reheat something in the microwave and forget about it for a couple minutes.. yah. She then told another lady and that lady said no nothing we can do and walked away, still didn’t take it away after asking again. I asked for fish ball noodle soup, lady comes back with shrimp ball noodle soup. Fed up, I asked another worker for the bill. Of course no tip was given, THEN as we are walking out the same rude ladies come back and ask if they can make us something else …. Really. We left/threw out all the food. Money wasted lesson learned. Never going back there again, will never recommend either. Restaurant looked nice and took our interest ON THE OUTSIDE, Completely different on the inside. Also over priced for that quality. Such a shame, they’d prob have better business if they had friendlier customer service and actually cared about their service and food quality. This is a place you go once and...
Read moreI’ve been trying to find a Chinese Restaurant to replace what I felt was the best Chinese carryout in Schaumburg, Ho Ho Chop Suey, which closed for good at the end of 2014 when the owners retired. Finally, I discovered Noodles Delight. As a matter of fact, Noodles Delight may actually be a little better! As far as appetizers, their Egg Rolls are delicious AND homemade, not purchased frozen from a Chinese restaurant supplier like most Chinese Restaurants use. Their Crab Rangoons are HUGE, with plenty of filling and real crab meat. The Pot Stickers are also good, as are the Fried Shrimp.
For entrees, I’ve had the Beef Chop Suey, Shrimp Egg Foo Young and my all time favorite, Kung Pao Delight. All excellent! Friends I’ve dined with have all enjoyed the dishes they’ve ordered. Not one complaint.
I’ve ordered both carryout and have dined in. The service has always been outstanding. I’ve seen some people complain that they were rushed when dining in, but I think they mistook the, at times, over-attentive staff as a sign they wanted table turnover. I have noticed that the wait-staff has toned it down a bit, which is a good thing.
I had the pleasure of dining at Noodles Delight right before the new owner, Hannah, bought the place from Sunnie. Unlike other reviewers here, I don’t feel the food has changed at all. Contrary to others, I believe the egg rolls are the same delicious ones that Sunnie always made.
Give Noodles Delight a try; I don’t think you’ll be...
